Such a fun lil stop! Technically free, but make sure to bring a couple dollars to drop in the donation box! If you do, the cooler has some vet approved snacks for these cuties!

We didn't visit the rest of the park, but we definitely enjoyed the donkeys!

I never tire of the beauty of this park. We are lucky enough to live nearby, and we use it often--it is one of the many benefits of living in Cripple Creek.

Breathtaking views, a world-class, award-winning frisbee golf course, covered and uncovered picnic areas, a dog park, a trail to walk or bike, a BMX course, and a playground are all features.

The amazing folks at Parks & Rec not only keep it immaculate, but they are consistently improving and adding new enhancements and holding events. (And there are only a few employees!). It is a wonderful place to relax or get some outdoor exercise, year round.

Please respect our park and follow rules to help keep it clean and well-maintained for all to continue to enjoy.

And don't forget to visit the donkeys just down the way from here! There is a visitor deck built just off the same side of the road where you can give them treats, if you continue past the park a little bit. Donations are very much appreciated!

We mostly went here for the dog park while killing time. Great, big, fenced area for the dogs to run and play with a small covered area for the humans. They also seemed to have a large disc golf area and walking paths. We enjoyed the kids playground a bit, and hung out around a covered picnic area. Seems like a good area to stretch your legs!

Very nice park. Picnic tables, a playground, dog park, BMX trails, and a disc golf course. Be prepared for a long walk along the trails or disc golf course. Plus beautiful views, and it is next to the Cripple Creek donkey winter pasture. You can feed them for $1 for a small bag of treats. Please do not feed the donkeys anything other than the provided treats for sell.

Absolutely incredible place. Huge fenced area for dogs, usually you are alone. Beautiful hike around, disc golf, and dirt bike track. The ladder doesn't mean as much to me, but all in all 10/10 rec

Honestly, it's a pretty cool place. It has a lot of different walking trails that arc back into the mountain, which is awesome. It's got a little playground for the youngins, and a fenced in area for the dogs to play unleashed. And then there's the little BMX track. Which is really cool too.

Downsides? Well, there are no awnings, nor are there many trees in the area by the park itself. So shade is quite limited. Another major flaw, is that I found no water fountains nearby whatsoever.

Nice area but not very shady so come when it's not the middle if the day. The trail is almost 2 miles of unpaved but groomed path and will take you around the disc golf course.

We forgot to bring food for the donkeys so didn't get to visit them.

There are better hiking trails in the area but if you're looking more for a parklike atmosphere this will do nicely.

The tee boxes are well marked and also rocks at the baskets indicate direction of next tee so very well signed now. Easy to follow good course seems to be Breezy most of the time.
