Matt and Jesse are such a great team! Jesse did an amazing job keeping us feed at the Baxterville Lodge while we went out and learned a massive amount of skills from Matt and Justin. I was beyond impressed with Matts ability to teach me how to master mountain snowmobiling.

I went to another persons clinic last year and didn't learn nearly as much as I did with Matt. He knows snowmobiling and is able to teach it to pretty much anyone. Even when we were not interested in receiving input it found a way to do it so well. I was extremely impressed with how much knowledge he was able to give me in the 2 days we were out.

I 100% plan to go back and learn more from him so I can conquer the mountains.

Great ride! Warm sunshine to cold mountaintop, so bring layers! Sooo beautiful and nothing too technical for first time drivers, but some fun water crossing and easier challenges 🙂

I can’t say enough about Mountain Skillz and Matt’s team. I took a 2 day riding clinic this week, and learned so many techniques that have dramatically improved my riding and sled control. Matt and Justin explained techniques to help conserve energy by using the correct body mechanics and the sled to easily ride some of the deepest snow I’ve ever been in. If you are struggling like I was, make the investment in yourself and enroll in a clinic. Matt organized a small group with similar abilities. After two days of riding every participant made marked improvements. I also took advantage of the accommodations at the lodge. Matt’s wife Jess made us feel right at home with delicious home cooked meals. I can’t say enough good about this family run business. I will continue to go back to develop my skillz.

I was in town for Avalanche training. I stayed at Baxterville Lodge. Everything was so nice, and Matt & Jessi are wonderful hosts! I learned so much, and oh yeah, I got to ride w/ Matt and Justin. I can't recommend it highly enough! Thanks again, Mountain Skillz

I rode with Matt and James for the 1st time when I was 50... Never been on a back country snowmobile before.

They made me feel very comfortable and now I have ridden several times with them.

They both are very patient and are willing to take the time to ensure you have a good experience

Awesome selection of parts and accessories and gear. Lodging is perfectly clean, smells fresh, comfy beds 10/10!
Sled instruction is 2nd to none.
Would recommend to everyone!
