Loved the place, the people (camphosts), the grounds and everything in it. Will be back next year during the white water rafting season April to end of Sept... In addition, our 3yr old grandson had a blast. Many trails and great access to watering holes....

Absolutely the highlight of Kernville. Right on the river for the Oasis of fun and enjoying the Kern River. Don't miss this very special area. MRA offers safe, country hospitality. John the owner is an icon of River rafting and the staff are friendly and professional to give you a thrill of a lifetime. There's everything here for outdoor high adrenaline adventure - camping, rafting, mountain biking, climbing wall and more. Clean restrooms too, hot showers for Campground.. Very close but still out there from the center of Kernville.
My family had a blast rafting and will be back for more fun very soon. We're going to do thier Mountain Biking trip next.

I booked a group campsite here for a retreat - and I was expecting a large # of folks to join, which can always be stressful! John (MRA owner) could not have been more helpful, patient, and accommodating. Thank you SO MUCH to the entire M&RA staff for making our annual Campout so special. This place is simply terrific.

This spot was awesome, the only glitche we had is that our photos taken during the run weren't backed up and somehow lost, luckily I disobeyed their signs posted on next to the screan monitors showing pictures taken from our group, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to have this images I share with yall, Besides that, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the crews/captains of the rafts are experience rafters and basically know the ins and outs of the river, they sure put us at ease since it was a little nerve wracking to see the Rapids at full force when we visited, they even stated that it was a bit extra that time of year because of all the snow fall we had a few months back, mind you we visited in June of 2017, all in folks, It was a rush, we're already planning another group trip late spring 2021. Be safe and have fun people.

We went there during the week and it was so nice. River is very fast this year. Overall good experiance. Clean bathrooms and showers.

Nice site manager, clean facilities, but not a peaceful place to camp. If you like being on top of other campers, this is a site for you. My neighbor was snoring all night? Folks two sites over played music loud all day long. Showers were cold until someone flushed a toilet and then they became boiling hot. So bad we left after one day, found much more space, peace, and better river access up at Fairview.

Awesome rafting trip. We have gone several times and it's always a fun and exciting trip. Our guide for the trip this time was Sam. He was awesome we have also had Jerrod, also a great guide. Will keep going every year. They will make sure you have a good safe trip.
