Definitely definitely worth the drive out there. Make sure to stop and do the self-pay. It's a very small park but it's got a big bang for its buck. I think next time we go we'll actually camp. soon as you drive in and pay the self pay you'll notice there's some parking lots along the right just park it any of them and start walking into the mountains.. Note to bring some gloves or a coat because once you get inside it's pretty chilly. You could spend two weeks there just taking pictures non-stop of all the absolutely breathtaking rock formations. The cathedral ceilings I took so many videos I've been posting them everywhere. I think what's really kind of cool about these slot canyons are there's more or less three different kind of rock textures and canyons for lack of a better word. You could spend hours just wandering in and out of all of them. it's really cool in one of the cathedral ones when you get to the end you can hear pigeons above and they get a little cranky when you come in and to their space. The best part is there easy easy slot Canyons. I thought Willis Creek was super easy to get to. And I say that because most slot canyons are way out in the desert where you have to drive 12 miles on a washboard road then walk three miles of deep dirt with no shade. These you literally park and walk in 100 ft and your inside and there's no danger I don't believe a flash floods at least I couldn't see that happening there. They're great for children and the best part is you can get lots of photo opportunities because there's nobody else there really. We stayed and I took tons of pictures at sunset because I wanted to get all the moon Mars kind of atmosphere outside and they were just fantastic. There is picnic tables at the end of the road past the water Tower and some bathrooms.

This amazing area can be self-explored. Park and leave your car and the adventure can begin. There are so many narrow slot canyons and stunning rock formations waiting to be discovered.

What a surprise! We were looking for a place to stop to get a meeting and found this place. The kids loved it as well. We climbed and walked through the caves that are actually kind of a maze. Good phone signal
