Nicely restored historic hotel with period furnishings. Room was on the small side but comfortable, I imagine each room is probably somewhat different. Front desk said the rooms in the annex next door are larger. Service at the bar was good, as was breakfast in the restaurant.

I look forward to trips from Reno to Vegas because I know the Mizpah is there in the middle! The staff are super friendly and the building itself is super historic and charming.

There's a little bit of wear and tear on the rooms (chipped surfaces on baths and toilets, some plaster missing from ceilings) but the rooms are always lovely and clean and well equipped. The signal on the TVs is also a bit flaky but that gives me more time to appreciate the room 😉

After two stays I have yet to see the Lady in Red, but one day maybe!

We were recommended this place by a Vegas local, who claimed it was one of the most haunted hotels in America. While we didn't have any paranormal experiences, it was definitely a little spooky (in a good way!). All the staff were amazing and the hotel has an awesome old-school vibe. Our room was clean, spacious and a little creepy (once again, in a good way!)

The kind of hotel with great food options for a traveler passing through and looking for everything to be decent! The Mizpah is much nicer inside than the appearance of the town more generally at first glance; mining town with history for the blazing of the USA in the last 150 years!

I actually stayed at the Mizpah in 2018, the year the hotel was voted the most haunted in America. I checked into the hotel, requested the "haunted" room and rode the elevator up, admiring the vintage decor along the way. I entered the room, rolled my suitcase in and set my wallet on the night stand, next to the bed. After using the commode, I left the room to check out the slot machines, but after walking a few steps toward the elevator, I remembered I had left my wallet in the room. Returning to the room, I opened the door and immediately noticed the bed had been turned down and there was a damp towel draped over the end of the bed, and upon closer inspection, the shower was wet. After a thoughtful moment (only a few seconds in reality), I grabbed my things and went down to request another room. Upon hearing my request, the clerk responded, "Well, you asked for it." This hotel has the most comfortable bed I eventually slept in and a "friendly" ghost. Friendly is only a word. True story.

I stayed here with a friend and our two dogs on a road trip, after checking out the ET highway. We loved the history of the building and the history of the town! We snagged pizza from the pizzeria up the street for dinner and got a great night's sleep in the comfy bed. The bathroom was nice and spacious and the rooms were really clean.

Very unique accommodations. If you enjoy period style accommodations, this is for you.

The furnishings were nice and the room was comfortable. There were a few glitches. The coffee maker didn’t work and the shower was somewhat interesting.

The café was so so and expensive and you may want to think more about eating there. The food was OK, it’s hard to mess up breakfast. The young lady was very nice who waited on us.

All in all, it was a good day, but not fantastic.

Booked the 'Wagon Room' for 1 night. On entry to the room it really does have the 'wow' factor. Looks great. What lets the suite down a little is the bathroom which needs a little refurb. Ceiling peeling away. Bathtub needs replacing as this too has peeling issues. The condition of the bathroom needs addressing to make this a superb choice. The staff were great. Very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good if you choose this option. Good selection of beers and spirits in bar. Again great staff.
