The very nice gentleman that works there graciously let us go in right after he had locked up for the day. What a cool look back in history. It is all very cool but the jail is a must see! Free but they accept donations.

Historical Building with lots of artifacts from the area. And the steel lines jail is pretty cool.
Enjoyed seeing the history of the area and fun things like the jail registry, courtroom, mining engineer tools, etc.
It’s free with donation requests and worth a visit.

We had a fine time touring this historic landmark. Our young tour guide showed us many details that we wouldn't have noticed. He was very knowledgeable of the period. Many thanks to the people of Pioche for maintaining this place for all to see.

An amazing time capsule to the past and a gift to all future generations. A very cool museum inside an old courthouse. Has history of the courthouse and the old jail, Pioche and Lincoln County. The older gentleman who was there was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and did an amazing job of telling the history in an entertaining way for my two little brothers (5 and 8). Well worth the stop.

Incredible museum. In our travels across the country, this is one of the most impressive. Courtroom, jail, and attorney offices are worth seeing.

THIS PLACE IS CLOSED as of 5/2021 I was told by the lady at the town museum that it has been closed for a while even though the sign on the door says it opens at 10am still. Waited out front then went to the other museum on main street which is still open.
