Meyer's has been a staple in my extended family for years and years. I haven't been in many years and decided I'd try someplace new for a fish fry.

Their Friday Fish Fry Specials had over 12 types of fish to choose from it was fantastic! From baked cod to bluegill to flounder to shrimps! The variety ensures there's something for everyone, whether you prefer the crispy, golden texture of fried fish or the lighter, healthier option of baked fish.

A generous amount of rye bread and butter accompanied the potato salad, coleslaw and vegetables as our sides.

The food was good. The fish was cooked well. Fries were crispy. The tartar sauce had a different flavor to it and I did not like it. The batter on the fried fish was crispy and delicious. The amounts of the sides were generous as well.

They had festive decorations displayed and our waiter could not have been more attentive. Establishment looked clean and kept up for how old it is. I did notice the average age of the customer as being 50+ on a Friday evening. Just noticing. There was a decent crowd, but no wait.

We had a luncheon after memorial service. The manager Dave was very accommodating and kind. They waited to serve food until all guests arrived. Food was fantastic. It was hot and overall delicious. The staff was very attentive and hustled to make sure all tables and food served. They monitored the tables to see who needed anything and quickly got it. Definitely recommend Meyers.

I've known of Meyer's as a good banquet place for funerals. When we had my dad's funeral, they lived up to their good reputation.

The food was hot and fresh, tasted good, and was delivered to our banquet tables with great care.

The servers did an outstanding job. They moved quickly and politely to make sure every little detail was cared for. They even put together a nice vegetarian dish when they realized one of our guests had that diet.

This isn't fine dining, but the service was impeccable for this style of dining.

I haven't dined there outside of banquets, but I highly recommend Meyer's based on my experiences.

I have been here twice In this last week, Friday fish fry, to go which l hardly ever do. The ride was 10 min so it was still very good. Today Broasted chicken ***** 🐔 😋 ate it hot. As l told Dave the mgr. Excellent. Probably the best in town.
We ate in the bar area, Sasha was tending the bar Saturday she is a total pro, so nice also 5*****+ So, Perch next week.

I used to come here for breakfast over 20 years ago with my maternal grandparents, and today was my first time back since. My family rented one of the back rooms to celebrate my Opa's 90th birthday. The staff was super friendly and really good at their jobs. We could have probably used a bigger space for the 40+ of us, but we made it work. There was enough seating, but moving around was a little tight. It was unfortunate that the bar space was permanent as that was an unused part of the room. Food was family style, bread/butter, potato soup, fried chicken, pork, stuffing, mashed potatoes/butter, gravy, cranberries and greened beans. Almost like a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. Everyone commented on how great the food was. The flavor and cook on everything was amazing. In general, this place could use a face lift. The parking lot, landscaping, and inside/outside of the restaurant leave much to be desired. If I had never been there before and were looking for a restaurant to try, most likely I would not stop. With that being said, I was impressed by the service and food & will definitely be back in the future to try it again.

I took my mom here for an early Mother's Day meal.

We shared a couple of big pretzels that were amazing.

Next up was some wonderful chicken kluski 🍲 soup. Delicious 😋.

The waitress was exceptional 😜... friendly, efficient, and one of the better servers I've encountered. You can tell she'd been working here for a while.

This is a banquet hall, and I remember coming here for my father-in-law's father's funeral...so it can serve a large group if necessary.

On this day, however, I enjoyed some polish sausage and coke slaw. Mom had the steak 🥩 sandwich 🥪, which by the looks of it made me a bit envious. Next time. I loved my lunch, but I definitely want to have some of that steak sandwich 🥪 myself.

Outstanding stop for lunch at reasonable prices with a friendly and semi -elegant atmosphere with Milwaukee written all over it. Ahhh...the Cream City! Go Bucks!!!

It had been many years since I ate here. Our server told us he was very new & to be patient, understandable. I asked for sauce on the side for my chicken parm, as you see, that didn't happen. But I'm not one to complain. On the menu, the claim is Papa Luigi's but I can tell you from experience and my love for Luigi's - it didn't come close. Salad was meh. The rest was good. No paper towels in the bathroom & surprisingly a staff member did come in there but didn't put any in. Prices are reasonable. Odd thing, server asked multiple times if we were paying with cash or card, still baffled as to why. Unsure if it was because of the fee involved but I'm sure that's a press of a button. I understand the server was new, but it was an uncomfortable experience nonetheless.

The service and staff were good. There wasn't anything amazing or that stood out about the experience. The meal was mostly okay, a little salty on the fried chicken, the mashed potatoes were just boxed potatoes, the stuffing was tasteless and the scoop of ice cream with chocolate and I'm assuming strawberry syrup was not good. I was there for a dinner with an organization and I see they utilized Meyers because there are multiple rooms to rent out for event spacing.
