I've boarded my horse here for the past 10 months and couldn't be happier. He is an OTTB and over the past year I've watched him relax, gain confidence, and thrive at Mead.

This barn cultivates the most nurturing and caring environment without any judgement. The horses are truly cared for as if they are their own. Every detail is noticed and I never had to worry. From them making my horse a personalized, homemade stall sign, to the barn manager noticing that he was boycotting red water buckets... I could go on and on about the unique and thoughtful loving care that my horse has received. So thankful to this place and for everyone that made this past year so wonderful.

I was thinking about going here and read some of the reviews which were mainly negative... I thought to myself I understand guests can exaggerate or wrote a negative review due to not getting their way... but then I read the owners responses to those people, which was disgusting.. very immature responses and very aggressive... glad I was able to see the owners true colors before I came and if my daughter was treated poorly like some of these other parents said... I promise you it wouldn't have been a complaint and you guys would have regretted every treating any child poorly

We’ve never written a bad review on Google but this place really is terrible in our opinion. Clearly just waiting to sell, very unprofessional, my children were treated awfully by the angry woman they have teaching… she was rude and too physical with them to the point that we walked away from thousands of $ of paid for lessons so the children didn’t have to go back as they felt unsafe. I appreciate it is one of few options in Greenwich but don’t be tempted!

Wonderful farm and owners. The perfect location for a photo shoot. We recently did an engagement session at Mead Farm and we and the couple couldn't have been happier. They were very accommodating, kind and genuinely enthusiastic about the shoot. The farm is family owned and has a great history - they've been around since the 20s! The images came out beautifully. A big THANK YOU to Mead Farm.

Ok place, but prices are about two times higher than the second highest. Considering there are so many options close by, I would look at other options.

One more thing: you cannot cancel your lesson (less than 24 h in advance), however, the farm can. If they cancel your lesson, you will still be REQUIRED to attend at "horsemanship session". At $125, of course.

Rode my 1st Morgan ( not available at my local equestrian stable in England ) w.t.c.and jumped 1st time in many years.
A must return when in the USA again.
