We really enjoyed the Master Suite option in this beautiful old Victorian house. The suite is the entire spacious third floor. The downtown location is perfect. I wish we could have stayed a few days longer. I'd give the breakfast a 4.5; it could have been a little more personal.

We had a wonderful, sweet, great pillows great bathroom very clean. Coffee was available in the room. The house was immaculate and fun to look through. Breakfast was fantastic overall wonderful experience. The house had been redone and was really modernized, but still had an old house feeling.

The McConnell Inn has been restored to a comfortable yet convenient place to stay. The large covered porch is great for relaxing on the swing or anywhere along its ample space. Step down and walk one way to downtown or the other to lake, beach, wetlands, campground and beautiful natural areas. Scott and Mary-jo have kept the old-fashioned feel of a Victorian with modern amenities. Our room had the nicest bathroom we have ever experienced in a B&B. The breakfasts we enjoyed were delicious and portions were ample. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Such a quaint town and a beautiful Inn. Quiet, cozy and beautiful inside and out. Sadly we had to leave early but Mary Jo accommodated us with an earlier breakfast! Can’t say enough about this Inn. Highly recommend it if you are in this area! Please keep this place in mind!

What a beautiful place. We stayed in the suite which pictures and words can't describe how unbelievable it is. You have it all to yourself from the view looking at the Lake, to the gorgeous bathroom with a jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable and just laying and looking at the ceiling and the fireplace just warms your heart. Mary jo is a amazing host telling us the history of the inn and made the most wonderful and delicious breakfast. We can't wait to get the chance to go back again.

We came into town from Seattle for a wedding––and were delighted to stay at a bed and breakfast instead of a large conference center. From the suite to the nearby lake and amazing breakfasts hosted by Mary Jo, the stay was so peaceful and relaxing. Mary Jo and Scott are incredibly accommodating to any request or question. Rooms are all clean, comfortable and feel so homey. Would stay again if we're in the area!

Charming beautiful Bed & Breakfast right by Green Lake in historic village. This is an absolutely lovely vintage home with outstanding interior decor, antiques and wall to wall beauty. Rooms are appointed with lovely taste and period pieces and atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Host Mary Jo is very kind, helpful and cooked us a terrific breakfast. She is also so knowledgable about what to do in the surrounding area. A great romantic getaway and very relaxing.

When I think of a Classic B&B, the McConnell Inn is what comes to mind. It is a scrumptious Victorian with lovely gardens and even lovlier hosts. ||Staying in a historic building adds so much splendor to a trip. The high ceilings, the woodwork, the wallpaper, and little nooks are all so delightful. There is a piano room with some board games, a sitting room, a dining area, and wrap around veranda/porch all of which we partook.||Did I mention breakfast? It is that 2nd B that I miss in a lot of B&Bs. It started with coffee, real cream, and juice. Our first day it was smoothies, sausage, and homemade banana berry waffles…yes…waffles! Our next day was open faced ham and egg creations. Each day it was a joy.||The location was ideal for our journey. It was a mere block away from the marina for us to get on our boat. A restaurant bar another 1/2 block away which was a great place to watch the big game but far enough away that we had peace and quiet. Downtown was 2 blocks away and a nice boutique saunter plus a place to get quick supplies.||We lucked upon the weekend of the Wisconsin State Chili Cookoff which was in the local park. It was Midwest wholesomeness at its best. Our favorite didn’t win but they said they are coming back next year for another try.||We will definitely be back and we recommend you give the McConnell Inn a try.
