We are travelers who went for breakfast. It was super packed on a Sunday. Almost all locals except us. We did not get greeted or acknowledged right away. The waitresses were actually chatting with locals. I’m used to a warm smile and a”welcome “ now for the food. It was beyond excellent. My husband got the smoked sausage and eggs. He says perfect! I got the chicken fried steak and a biscuit. Both absolute perfection. The biscuit was so delicious and perfectly fluffy. The atmosphere is homey but kind of dingy and the tables too big for the space. It’s a bit cramped. Also our orders did not come out together. A bit annoying. Overall we would visit again. Just maybe takeout though. Bring cash. You get a discount! The prices were very reasonable. We took enough home for a third meal.

Went for breakfast this morning. Hubby and I both got the country fried steak and eggs. He got his with grits and I got hash browns and we both got toast. Everything was delicious and it was only about $21 plus tip. This place is small but cozy and feels homey-like. 😀

1st. Time wife and I visited Mary's. I ordered my egg's over medium. The first eggs came out to done on the outside and the whites were running. The second eggs came out worse over done on the outside and the whites were still RUNNING. The third time my egg's were still over done on the outside and the whites were still RUNNING. I didn't eat anything. I let my waitress know and she sent her manager to the table. She made it seem like she was going to take my breakfast off our bill. But I found out from my wife when I was entering our car that they only took $1 off the bill. I went back inside and I gave the manager the $1 back!!! Telling her that I guess they needed more than I do. I will Never go to Mary's Place again. I grew up and my Mother was a waitress and manager for over 30 years. She always treated her customers with the Most Respect. I Would Not Recommend Mary's Place to anyone else to go there!!!

Nice and freshly served food. We took a stop while driving back from Orlando. Their hash browns and omelets are really yummy. Only thing I wish could be better where their seating comfort, may be new chairs and tables

Very good food and a clean diner, definitely a local spot with mostly regulars. Staff are naturally more focused on there regular customers and not new comers but none the less still a good spot to stop in for a quick and cheap home cooked breakfest.

8/10/22 11:00am We got seating right away, Karen greeted us and was very friendly and informative. Sam was our waitress and the service was OUTSTANDING!!! Onion rings are best you will find in central Florida, the reubens were very good and burger also excellent, we all enjoyed all our food and had a great visit! Would give it 6 stars if i could! DON'T LET THE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU! Its not fancy but where it counts they can't be beat!

Mary's Place is just you're good down home cooking! Located in the heart of Belleview in a quaint little Motel with a No-Frills Ambiance in this restaurant the food says it all. We had breakfast consisting of pecan Belgian waffles, country grits, amazing Homestyle biscuits and gravy along with eggs sausage and hash browns. Servers were very attentive always right there filling your coffee and making sure you are enjoying your meal. The menu also consisted of many home cooked country food options and specials you don't find anywhere else. It was our first time there but they were very busy and you could tell they had a lot of loyal local customers. Open for breakfast and lunch up to 2 p.m. it may have been our first time there but it will definitely not be our last. You should definitely try you won't be disappointed! Update Memorial Day Weekend 2018 we have now been going to Mary's Place almost every weekend since my first review. We always sit in Courtney section and she is nothing less than fantastic! We have tried many different items on the menu and have never been disappointed! This to me is amazing because I can be real critical when it comes to food. Unfortunately they are only open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. otherwise we would probably grab dinner there a couple nights a week. Their prices, quality and quantity of food, and all around welcoming attitude and service is refreshing. Thought I would give this a little update it is now October 11th and unfortunately my health has taken a disastrous turn for the worst but I was scrolling through my pictures and wanted to post some of the ones I forgot to. We still get take out but miss being there in person but hopefully we will be there soon seeing everybody's smiling faces!
