Absolutely beautiful pond here in Delaware. Have couple of long walking trails - swamp forest 6 miles and little Jersey about 8 miles. They are both in a loop for walking and bike.
There is also boat ramps on rather side for kayak/ canoeing and even rent them! Nice picnic area, and they even added a go ape zip line.

Been coming here last 2 decades and it’s great place to escape around these parts.

We stayed in a tent in site 036, which is for RVs. We paid a little more but it was the only site available at the time of booking. The site was large, mostly shaded, and close to the restrooms (which were clean). We could pitch our tents in the grass, which was nice. We were very close to the pond. We passed the tent sites on our way out and they were small and fairly far from the restrooms. Also, the store was great. We couldn't buy wood because there was a burn ban. They did sell us charcoal, though. Next to the store is the playground. Kids enjoyed it.

We visited Lums pond for the annual Pont Fest that they have each year. It was our first time going and we had a great time checking out all the vendors and learning about the park. The food and love music was added plus and we even won a bird house in one of the raffles! Afterwards we grabbed our disc to play a few cages on their course. Last time I played here I was in high school and now I'm bring my kids to play here!

I have visited this park several times. Although it was cold and overcast, a beautiful, peaceful place to walk the trails. You can pick short or long trails which parallel the water. In the past I have found the restrooms and picnic areas well maintained. Also, make sure you stop by the park office near the main gate.

Lums Pond State Park is a fantastic spot for an early morning kayaking adventure! The boat launch area was impressively clean and free from any garbage or debris, making for a pleasant start to the day. While there were a few little flies at first, they quickly disappeared once I got on the water.

The other boaters on the pond were very respectful, and I was thrilled to see an eagle’s nest—what an amazing sight! The park itself is great, with helpful and friendly staff. Just a heads up, the boat launch is outside the actual park entrance, so you’ll need to enter from a different street if you plan on renting a boat from the park. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend visiting this beautiful park!

This is a great park!! Enormous campsites with plenty of space. Excellent restrooms, office and playground. The rest of the park is relaxing and fun to explore. The trails are what make it. You can bike or hike them. They are very natural in many places, but no jumps or crazy stuff. None of them are smooth paved so if you’re a mountain biker you will find it very fun. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed them with our electric bikes.

Family and I tent camped here for memorial day. Loved it , plenty of room on tent locations. Bathroom is about 5min walk away which kind of was a bummer but not a killer. Go ape was awesome! Trails are beautiful. Son caught 20 blue gill from the dock 😆 would definitely go back. Can you find the snake in the picture ?
