They have done a good job at freshening up this place. Nice white tablecloths, updated bathrooms and a new menu. The beer garden is lovely, and the little gazebo is perfect for a group of 6 to 8 people. I’m not one for dining in, so this is great, even if it’s drizzling rain out. The food has also improved, however the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the scallops we had were dry and insipid in color. Maybe they were refrozen. If they were fresh and cooked properly that meal would have been perfect. I’m going to be going to the beer garden for brunch and dinner as long as the weather permits. Lovely spot.

Went there for Thanksgiving dinner. Service was bad: had to ask 3 times to get bread delivered to table. The bread was straight out of a supermarket rolls bag, and not even warmed. No list of wines or spirits offered. Food was mediocre at best: Clam Chowder and Butternut squash soup tasted as if watered down - a Campbell's would have tasted better. The turkey was lukewarm - mine was served with the skin on! The cranberry sauce was watered down as well. Service of 20% was charged automatically. Paid $138 for two people with no alcoholic drinks. Terrible value. Terrible food. Stay away.

We arrived and the place was empty but the staff insisted we stay. The decor was worth the trip alone. I had the chicken pot pie. Wow. The best I've ever had. My friend had the Duck ala Orange and he was amazed at the whole thing. Kept raving how wonderful every aspect was,(he's a foodie and in the industry)
Most times you go to a place as they were about to close you get served a rush job of food and service, however these guys did a great job making us feel welcome. I've heard of this place word of mouth for years and finally tried it and it was more than I expected. I Will go back again.
