This area would be nice if it wasn’t for the many office staff that smoke here. The cloud of smoke seems to stay like Linus’s dirt from Charlie Brown. There’s so much smoke that the rocks are black. It feels like being in a dirty pit hole. People don’t pick up after their dogs. No benches. No playground. No!! Skip and keep going!

This is not the definition of a park!

This is a small green patch with trees located in front of the Korean Radio building. It's nice to rest under those tress in an area where there are so many buildings and no green.

Liberty Park turns into a Skate Park on the weekends, the property management doesn't do anything about it, it's like a street takeover but with skateboards.

Someone already mentioned that it's not really a public park. It's likely a greenspace mandated by city planners.

There are tons of rats around the entire perimeter along the walls and street curbs and under the sidewalks... attracted by food containers people throw on ground after eating from the nearby Ralph's, Denny's and Street food vendors.

This is not an official park, it is the privately owned front lawn of the Wilshire Park Place office building. As such, it's use as a park is completely up to the good graces of the property owner.
In 2016, a development proposal was filed with the City of Los Angeles to construct a 32 story mixed-use (housing tower and ground floor business) building where the park currently is, which would effectively get rid of "the park." There was also an effort to have the property designated as a historic landmark, which if granted, would prevent further development. As of 2024, I am not sure the status of the proposed development or preservation effort. Given the development that has been going on in the area, I would not be surprised if this small urban oasis is taken away in the near future, as it is unlikely that the city would stop the development of this private property.

It's basically the only park in koreatown but that is also part of the problem. All the dog owners are very friendly and there are security guards in the plaza but there tends to be either crazy, drugged, or disrespectful homeless people hanging out in the trees in the center.

They have rocks placed to prevent tents from popping up but I have still seen hard drugs being done in the grove.

The grass is well kept and like I said there are always friendly dogs, it's just unfortunately too close to some of the real crazies of koreatown

I wouldn't really call this a park. It's literally a giant grassy area on Wilshire surrounded by office buildings. I do like that in the middle of it there are big pine trees and there's squirrels all over the trees that enjoy messing with my puppy lol. It's a chill little area to go walk to and chill out at during the day.
