The driver, Edward, was vey knowledgeable and provided great historical insight as we drove to the Whitney Plantation. I would definitely recommend this enlightening tour.

I took my tour to Oak Alley Plantation, they were very punctual, informative and consistent with their communication. I would have liked to do Laura Plantation because I understand that it has more history of the slaves. In Oak Alley their narration focuses on the family but not on the slaves, but the locations were beautiful. I recommend the tour 100%.

Our driver, Edward, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Louisiana, providing us with little factoids along the drive. Upon arrival to Whitney, Edward gave us clear instructions to get us started on our tour. We then had ample time to explore the grounds with use of the self guided tour devices provided. Overall, it was an amazing experience in which you are forced to face the uncomfortable truths of this country and our freedom. I am so glad we decided to go with Legendary Tours!

Very informative trip. The driver was great and the Whitney Plantation self-guided tour was excellent. Highly recommend it and their service. The driver picked us up and dropped us off right outside our hotel. Made for a relaxing and educational outing. Many thanks!

I have been very impressed with the ladies at Legendary Tours they went out of their way to make our second tour a reality as our tour group did not have the requisite 6 people to justify the extra trip. These ladies agreed to use their own personal vehicle to get us there!! I am so super grateful cause I had been looking forward to witnessing the stark contrast between the opulence of the slave owners and the slaves themselves.

Legendary tours- our driver was amazing. He’s so knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans, funny and kind. I received a courtesy call from the office making sure we know our pick up location at 8am the day of the tour. Our pick up and drop off was timely. Our tour was to the Whitney Plantation. I would definitely book another tour with them.

Great tour company! Did the self guided Whitney Plantation Tour and our tour guide Edward was excellent! He told us a little bit of history about New Orleans and pointed out landmarks during our drive there. He was also nice enough to pull over and let us take pictures of the outside of the other plantations. I also appreciated the courtesy call and the great communication of the reservation booking team. Great tour company and I would definitely book another tour with them in the future!
