I stumbled upon Learn scuba with a Google search. From the get go, my experience with Learn Scuba was great. The team members at the store were helpful in getting everything set up.
The entire group of Dive masters helping with the pool and the quarry sessions were just fantastic. I felt safe and received good support and tips from all the instructors. Special shout out to Alex Surmach- he helped me get over my nerves in the pool during my first dive session. Furthermore Alex went above and beyond in helping me push my skills at the quarry. I would highly recommend Learn Scuba to anyone who wants to explore getting certified. They know what they are doing and they are dedicated to help you succeed.

My daughter and I received our PADI certification through LSC a few years ago, and I just took a refresher course to prep for dives I am taking in December. The instructors are clear, friendly, patient and safety-minded. My experience was awesome, but I want to describe what I witnessed happen with a fellow student. He was on his second pool session, and during one of the mask skills he panicked and swam to the surface. One of the training instructors surfaced with him and talked with him, and he was soon back in the water. As I swam the pool, I saw our lead instructor also working with this student, and writing him messages. After we surfaced, I overheard the student thanking the training instructor and lead instructor for calming him down, reminding him to relax and take his time--this incident encapsulates the ethos of LSC. When I was getting certified, I had a lot of trouble with a couple of skills, and through patience and wise words, the instructors mentored me through. A great organization!

If you want to learn how to scuba dive, you should definitely do it with Learn Scuba Chicago!

The scuba instructors were very thorough, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. It took me a lot of pool sessions to grasp the skills needed for my Open Water Certification, but thanks to the patience and expertise of the instructors, I was able to learn those skills and become confident in the water!

Learn Scuba Chicago is a non-profit, and all of the instructors are volunteers. What makes that great is that each instructor I met was genuinely excited about scuba diving and eager to share their passion for diving with newcomers like myself. This made each pool session, and the final quarry dives, really fun and exciting.

I earned my NAUI Open Water certification with Learn Scuba Chicago this past weekend! The entire experience, from the pool sessions to the open water dives, was incredibly positive. I can’t speak highly enough of staff and volunteers for creating such a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.

I just earned my NAUI certification andthe experience with learn scuba was a fantastic introduction to diving. In the pool the instructors are vey patient and the atmosphere is laid back. You are given all the time you need to learn everything. Instructors understand if you have to ask questions or need clarification. The quarry experience was equally wonderful. This cultivated a sense of calm that made it so much easier to learn, and really embodied the attitude of diving. I don't have a dive "buddy" so it was particularly important for me to get a feel for the community. This is just such a wonderful group of people and I am looking forward to more experiences with them!

I recently got certified as a scuba diver through Learn Scuba Chicago, and I had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly patient, kind, and professional. They made me feel very comfortable in the water, even though I was a bit nervous at first.

I had never scuba dived before, so I was a little apprehensive about the whole thing. But the staff at Learn Scuba Chicago took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand. They were also very patient with me when I was struggling to learn something.
One of the things that I appreciated most about Learn Scuba Chicago was how safe I felt at all times. The staff was always there to make sure that I was doing things correctly and that I was safe in the water. They also made sure that I was having fun.

They also made sure that I was comfortable with the equipment before we went into the water. They showed me how to use everything, and they made sure that I knew how to operate it safely.

I would highly recommend Learn Scuba Chicago to anyone who is interested in learning how to scuba dive. They are a great team of professionals who will give you a great experience.
