We love Las Vegas and couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the Packers here. We knew about the construction going on but never expected it to be this bad! I hope F1 is worth it because it is ruining this town. We went to the Sphere and was late due to traffic. Good thing the show doesn't start until one hour after the ticket time. We like walking the strip and were shocked we could only walk one side and the view of the Bellagio fountains was decimated by scaffolding. And to make things even worse the side of the strip we could walk on hat at least one third of the escalators not working! What a slap in the face to all the visitors coming here now to give the impression that we don't matter and you only care about one upcoming event that's still many weeks away. You got to do better Vegas!

Don't think much of them and there association with the prca which is the NFR. My good friends mother was coming here for over 30 years for the nfr . She died 2 years ago on the last day of the rodeo. I have been trying to get some type of recognition at the nfr . They talk about the spectator being just as big as a part of their sport that they're not showing it.In this case, i've tried radio stations, tv stations in colorado to try too get her recognized for her part of being a fan of rodeo. I have contacted the PRCA left several messages with different people and they could care a rats a,ss about her . Which is sad that she was coming to vegas for over 30 years , and they show you zero respect .

Seems like you remove critical comments posted on Facebook so I’ll share my Las Vegas experience here.

I’ve been to Vegas 32 times over the last 25 years and while Vegas may be changing, I don’t believe it’s for the better.

I stayed at the Linq from 01/08/23 to 01/13/23. The hotel was fine. Clean, quiet sufficiently supplied with a great location. Housekeeping was good but it ends there.

I’ll start with price gouging. If 5.30 for a coffee, 6.00 for a bagel, 9.00 (+) for a slice of pizza, 25.00 for a hamburger (etc) is your thing, then you are in luck. Never mind the 18.00 per day to park. Resort fees and parking fees should be abolished and simply advertise the room rates as “all in” like they used to.

Regulators should have never allowed MGM and Caesars to buy up and control most properties as they are the dominant operator and lack of competition is never good for the consumer. Table minimums were high (during the week) and lacked the rules and odds that differentiated Vegas from casinos like Atlantic City and larger Indian owned resorts like Foxwoods. There’s no personal touch or feel here any more. Even check-in is handled by a kiosk. Like DiNero said in the monologue at the end of the movie casino, before, everyone knew your name, now it feels like an airport.

Homeless people are all over the place, especially in the area of the strip we were in. Not in the casinos but all along the sidewalks. Some were panhandling, some were sleeping in doorways, others were just being a nuisance.

The smell of marijuana permeates through the air. I know it’s legal but out in public consumption shouldn’t be allowed.

I took my step kids here when they were teenagers a while back, we stayed at the Flamingo and they had a ball. I’d never bring them here now.

The need to have armed security on the Deuce Bus that runs up and down the strip says it all.

Parking for $10 is fair but traffic directors are VERY rude. They also need to end the lazy union employment. This makes everything during set up more difficult, slow and expensive for exhibitors.

Missing an easy to find official Las Vegas TOURIST information.

This helpful place used to be just across the road from the convention center in Paradise Road, relatively easy to find from the street with a car as long as you knew the location and would not, as I do, expect such a place right at the center of the strip, or at least where some tourist activity is going on. But their former building has been demolished a couple of weeks ago.

I suppose that they had too many visitors there because I cannot imagine any other reason, why a tourist office should be hiding like this in the middle of nowhere inside a building where usually no tourist would ever go. Probably they knew ahead that nobody would find them, because they reduced the display of brochures, tourist mags etc. to less than 3 square metres and I am including alteady the 2 spaces on their desk. You still get useful information here about nearby state parks, 2 or three interesting excursions, free entertainment etc. and the one woman behind the desk is friendly and knows a lot more than has been displayed behind the desk, but this place is somehow ridiculously far away from everything that makes Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, they have rented this tiny place for at least the next 2 years, so I cannot recomment to go there for any reason, except you are an adventurous hiker and like to explore huge and seemingly empty buildings off the beaten track and then even get the very positive surprise of meeting a knowing and helpful person at the end of your probably hour-long walk, first coming from the strip and then while searching inside this building. I have been there today shortly before 10 a.m. which is an hour after they had opened for business and have obviously been the first visitor of the day.

I give 5 stars for the brave and friendly lady behind the desk, 0 stars for location and 0 stars for the performance of the board of directors of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority who is responsible for changing location to this ridiculous place. This makes an overall 2 stars, credited only to the only person left behind the tiny reception desk in a huge hall. Without her, I would not find it worth the time to bother about a review at all.
