Living in North Stamford wouldn’t be as great without LaRocca’s. They have one of the better delis and butcher in Stamford, along with really good prepared foods of all types. We’re lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Not cheap but you get what you pay for and more! It's a good place to go on a hunt for the night's dinner. The meat and fish are perfect, as are the prepared foods and deli items. And, it's cheaper than takeout these days!

This market and the wine store are a gem and we are fortunate to have it in North Stamford. The food is fresh and delicious, the butcher is world class and the wine store has a great selection for anyone. It’s run extremely well and the staff is always smiling and happy to help.

Great for on the go foods. I did get a weird vibe from the grill guy he was giving me a dirty look while I was chatting it up with girl who works there. He was trying to look through me to figure out if I am a bad guy or what not. Maybe the girl was his wife but it’s not my fault women gravitate to my vibe. If he was less negative he would not be so worried about what I am going to do with his wife and be more free and open

One of the best hidden local spots. Great breakfast menu (steak filet egg and cheese is highly recommended), wide variety of lunch options with a rotating lunch specials, and a great market for odds and ends. The staff is always friendly + cheerful, and they run a tight ship (clean, quick, and consistent).

Purchased a bunch of USDA-certified prime Angus steaks here today. Cooked a couple New York strips on the cast iron skillet tonight, and they were amazing. My brother got the old long ridge sandwich from the deli and says it's the best sandwich he's ever had in his whole entire life. Very friendly owner working behind the register. They also give you reusable store-branded insulated bags instead of plastic or paper, which is a very nice touch. I'm selective about my butcher, and I'll definitely be coming back here for some more steaks. I also got 2 pounds of the ground Chuck steak, but I haven't tried it yet. However, I'm sure it's very good. Heard about this store from my father.
