I wrote a review last year and it magically went missing.

We had my friends wedding here last year and it was overall not a good experience. I was at first blown away by the pricing of a room, especially for being an Air bnb. When we got to the venue, the owner was walking around in the bnb, which I found a little odd that it was not 100% ready for us.

We then went down to the barn and were going to set up for the next day. The bride noticed that the tables were not the ones she asked for and she had a whole seating chart made according to what they stated they would have for her. This sent two of us bridesmaids on a wild goose chase trying to find the owners. We found an employee in the guest house, who was getting that ready for the boys because that was also not ready on time. She stated she would text the owner about the situation and was very kind! About an hour later the owner sent my friend a text stating they didn't have 6 person tables, texted not came and told her.

Fast forward to later that night. Some of us were in our room and using the shower, the shower rod came right off the shower. It looked like this was something that happened often as you could see glue on it.

The next day of the wedding, all seemed normal other than when we would walk to the barn from the bnb. The wife would sit on the porch and just stare at everyone who was walking by. Wouldn't say a word, but would give us a dirty look (comments were made by several people walking about how she was staring).

At the wedding, when everyone was don't eating, there was food left over. Myself and 2 other bridesmaids were staring outside when we saw the owners of the venue come over with take home containers and take the left over food into their home. When the bride and groom were asked about this, they stated they did NOT give permission for them to do that. And trust me, it was not small portions.

While we were getting ready during the day, the air conditioner in the main suite was leaking water everywhere to the point that we needed to locate the owner because towels were not holding all the water. We had be hives right outside our doors and windows as well which made it very hard for the bride to walk down.

I could go on about a few more things, but won't. We were overall not satisfied at all. I would not recommend this venue to anyone

With Covid and all, seems like it’s been a while since we’ve been to a bed-and-breakfast. This was actually a very nice day. The grounds are beautiful, situated on a farm, adjacent to Lake Michigan we stayed in Laura’s room, loved the huge soaking tub. It was very clean, and a 9 o’clock breakfast is perfect. However the website showed pictures of the room from the balcony overlooking the lake, this was not the case, our room faced the drive way which was a bit disappointing because we were expecting the Lake View. Nate helped with information around the area, had a wonderful time at Andre State Park. Lois in the morning was very sweet with breakfast. My wife Thinking of bringing a women’s retreat possibly sometime next year. A very nice stay, even in Packer country.

The owners are fabulous -- friendly, helpful and informative. There is a pool table and a croquet set. The large, tasty breakfast was delivered to our room. Ella’s room was charming, clean and spacious with nice bath towels and big fluffy robes. Unfortunately, the golf course view is more of a partial course view and partial driveway view so sitting outside was not enjoyable. I'd recommend a room with a lake view. The back of the property is along the lake, on a large bluff. However, there was nowhere to sit and enjoy the view when we arrived. I asked about seating and a bench did appear. It’s quiet, and the two dogs are friendly, especially Daisy. There is a fire pit but we didn't see any wood or fire starters. It would be good for a group/family gathering. If you're going to Whistling Straits, this is an ideal location.

We chose this venue for our wedding solely for the amazing view being right on Lake Michigan. We loved that we could have our friends and bridal party stay right on the property and we had full access from Friday morning through Sunday, which was so helpful in the set up/take down process. Nate was so easy and great to work with, always answered my questions quickly (I had many throughout planning 🙃), and was great to work with the weekend of! He was very chill about what we wanted and worked with us to make the weekend how we envisioned. And it turned out to be an amazing time and all of our guests loved the venue and views! He also had great recommendations for vendors and was willing to be on site to meet them when we weren’t available to do so as we lived out of town. Highly recommend!

We had one more night of a 3 day getaway to find lodging for. We wanted somewhere along Lake Michigan but didn't want to go as far as Door County. We found this place and so glad we did. The location was perfect. We loved being on the shore of Lake Michigan. The room was clean and comfortable. The host was great. Breakfast was delicious. We absolutely loved our stay.

My fiance and I stayed in Doris' room and had a great night; Mary and Nate were great hosts and had good recommendations for dinner around the area. Very cute country themed room and property with a great whirlpool in the room. Room was ready and warm even before official check-in time. Amazing view of Lake Michigan from the balcony for an awesome sunrise to start the day. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough to get started for a day of adventuring along the coastline. Would recommend without hesitation!

Awesome place to stay. The owner Nate is inviting and personable. We were in town fishing and loved this place. Will be back again. Our room was spacious. And had a hot tub in the middle. Was impeccably clean. And the breakfast was fantastic. Thanks Nate.
