GREAT TRIP! Had about 25 on trip including 5 under 10 in doubles w adults. Three of us in singles. Several newbies to taking. ALL had great time. Sea state allowed us to go in cave 2 yaks at a time w one guide while other stayed outside to watch others and warn those inside about incoming waves. Great history of area—one guide (Greg?) is getting geology degree. Crystal clear water allowed seeing of leopard sharks, seals, dolphins.

I went on the seven-cave tour Monday with John as our guide. The experience was top-notch from start to finish. John was warm and engaging. When the waves near the caves were rough he put on his wetsuit and guided us through two at a time. I was so grateful to have that experience. We saw lots of sea lions, as well as birds and fish. It was crazy foggy -- which made the experience wonderfully ominous. John went out of his way to ensure we experienced everything we could. I loved my time on the water. If you are thinking about it -- JUST DO IT!

This was an epic experience!

Grant was our tour guide, and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and shared so many interesting fun facts.

This wasn’t my first kayaking experience but naively I wasn’t ready for being out there in the open water! Be prepared to dive in the ocean and get wet!!! Like for real, bring wet suit and extra clothes.

Half way through the experience I got tired and started regretting it, because it requires strength and energy to keep paddling continuously. However, once we got to the cave area it was all worth it!! It was Epic view, the images don’t do it justice so I highly recommend this experience.

The Sunset Tour was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide, Chance was the best! He was extremely knowledgeable about La Jolla Bay and the local history. We got to see the cutest baby sea lions, but the highlight were the dauphins we saw on our way back to the beach! Thank you Chance for such an amazing tour!

This is a great place for kayak tours. The employees are very nice, funny and friendly. It’s a really fun experience and they take good care of the customers. They have lockers, changing rooms, and bathrooms. They show you how to kayak if you’re a beginner. They have support crew to get you in the ocean past the waves and also getting you back to shore. You feel like you’re part of a team and everyone looks out for one another. The location where the kayaking and snorkeling takes place is magnificently beautiful. It’s such a good and fun vibe. Everyone is happy, helpful, and nice. I’ve done this tour twice and definitely going back again.

I went on the early morning cave kayak trip. I had my 15 and 7 yr old. Both had a great time and loved getting a close up view of cliffs and caves. Sabrina and Dillon. We're excellent guides.

My coworkers & I booked a tour with La Jolla Kayak for a team activity & had the best time! Lily & Dax were the best guides & super fun to be around. We saw a bunch of sea lions & the weather/water could not have been more perfect! Definitely recommend booking a morning tour, it was the best way to start the day.
