Beau and fun place to visit. You can tour the working Grist Mill built in 1864 (I think) go across the covered bridge to miles of hiking trails. They have picnic tables so you can have lunch beside the lovely creek. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

Very cute place to take a hike. There is a lot of history behind the mill. The owner is very nice and gave us a tour before we headed out on a nice little hike.

The park was basically open I guess. We dropped money in the box outside the store. The store was closed so the mill could not be viewed , the restrooms were locked and no one could be seen even though there were a couple of vehicles parked there. The campground looked nice from a distance. We were only there a few minutes and took some pics. We are doing a tour of covered bridges in Alabama. The whole park looked well kept and would probably be a nice place to visit when it is fully open.

This was my first time visiting Kymulga Grist Mill. It was a lovely outing. The mill itself is still functioning and very interesting. You can purchase stone ground flour, corn meal and grits milled right here. Beyond that, there is an old covered bridge leading into a park with lots of hiking trails to enjoy. By the way, these trails are very easy to hike making them accessible to everyone. I highly recommend this park for a very nice day trip.
