**Very bad service and poor treatment from the owner and his family.**

I made a simple request and asked if they had a water heater for my room because I like to drink tea a lot. This angered them very much. I politely asked that I do not want room cleaning service unless I am present and do not want anyone to enter without me.

He was very angry and said that he does not want me to continue staying even though I had paid in advance for a room for a week. He deducted one day at an expensive rate and returned the rest.

Isn't that my right?

Additionally, the plastic drinking cups in the room are used and manually wrapped. There is no breakfast provided, only coffee.

If I could give zero stars I would. Had a buddy stop in for the night and the owner lost his marbles. I'm never the one to post but I would avoid this hotel. Drywall falling, roaches everywhere, towels look like they have been used for toilet paper. I don't mind paying $20 for a guest but was never told until he crashed out. I've stayed in bad hotels with good owners and went about my business. This is a bad hotel with a bad owner IMO.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!! There was a live RAT, not a mouse, in the bed, buried in the pillow. There were rat droppings throughout the room and room was dingy and smelled terrible. Moved to another room which was also dingy. At least no rat. Requested refund but was denied. Place should be closed for health reasons.

Reserved a room for 11 am today. Got there to be told it would be ready at 3 pm. Got this room booked for the storm. It would be there by then. Complete waste of my time. Would not recommend.

If you are traveling in the Clanton area please do not stop at the one on 7th Street South exit 205 Clanton Alabama.This is the worst’s hotel that I have ever seen and stayed in. The windows are falling out inside the bedrooms and their towels and sheets look like they haven’t been washed with any bleach in months. The manager was very rude when I confronted him about the issue. I will never stay at that hotel again I don’t care if it’s the last hotel in that area.

This place is disgusting. Lady at the front desk was really nice. Got into the room turned the light on & there was roaches. 🪳. Sheets were stained & smelt off sweat & dirt. Entire room had a bad smell. Bed bugs. 0/10. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Please don’t waste your time or money coming here.

Nice room we just stopped in late got a room quick was cheap enough and the service was nice just stayed 1 night on our way to vacation the breakfast coffee and a muffin I would recommend it if not looking for more than a room to stay and sleep a few days
