Went for Flounder and Seabass. I was most impressed with First Mate Chris as he coached us, kept bait in front of us, setup and managed all 4 of us and our rigs efficiently and conscientiously. He grinded all day and even helped clean the fish. And Capt Brent calmly parked us on the fish over and over giving us exactly what we wanted - to limit out. This is a well oiled machine who's reputation speaks for itself. IF you want to catch fish, I highly recommend this outfit.

These guys crashed it! Took my family of 4 shark fishing was a great experience!! Nice boat, clean, and professional crew. Most importantly, they put us on the sharks!! We'll be back for sure. Thanks again Brent and Chris!!

I went fishing with the katydid for blackfish, on 4/29/2024. Top notch boat, class, quality, Brent the captain puts you on fish, the first mate outstanding, so much fun, catching a boat load of huge blackfish/toug. If you want a first class experience, and catch fish I suggest the katydid. I was called to go out with a crew that was short a man, I met some amazing new fishing friends. Im booking to fish the summer and fall with them. Captain Brent thank you see you real soon.

Had a fantastic experience with Brent and Chris on the Katydid. We arrived about ten minutes early and the crew was ready for us. After reviewing the safety guidelines, we set out for the Delaware Bay. We proceeded to a few spots Brent was familiar with where we immediately caught some sea trout. Throughout our half day trip we caught trout, oyster crackers, and flounder. At the marina we had our fish filleted at the marina which we enjoyed that evening. Brent also had a connection to fresh scallops which we took home and enjoyed. Already booked our next charter later this summer!

Captain Brent and First Mate Chris provide a fabulous fishing experience! They will go above and beyond to get your group on some fish. They are polite, professional, and always put your needs first. I highly recommend booking early as this boat books quickly!
