When JTA first opened, it used to be a really good place to shop, and eat at. Well, here recently, I have bought TWO things from there that have been moldy. Then last night, 07/13/2024, I ordered 2 large snowstorms and a large milkshake. My brownie bite snow storm was nasty, a little melty, and the brownie pieces tasted horrendous. My brothers large lemon milkshake he said didn’t even have a lemon taste that it was very faint. And my mom’s ‘M&M’s snow storm was completely melted right when the lady handed it to us. It was so melted I could drink it straight from the cup. My mom didn’t like hers so she ended up dumping it out.

Love this little store. Support for a small town store like this is extremely important. Most towns the size of Bement have no grocery store. Plus their little grill does a great job and serves excellent food!

Stopped at JTA Foods on my way through town and ate the best Ribeye sandwich I've ever had! Can't wait to come back to try a burger. Highly recommend!

A convenient store for a small town.

I highly recommend grabbing something from the Grill here, the food is always good & made quickly. The ice cream is pretty good when they have it available in the summer months.

They have a good selection of their own brand of spices too. The meat case is always full with a good selection of fresh cuts. The Jimmy pork burgers are awesome when cooked on the grill.

The store is over-all pretty nice, everything is always organized and easy to find. Staff is always more than welcome to help you find items. Prices can be a little high on certain items, but as a small business and family-owned store it’s understandable.

I recommend checking dates on certain foods, sometimes they spoil fast or the use-by dates can be a little close to time.

Really convenient when I need something I forgot to pick up someplace else!

I enjoy picking up various flavors of soft serve ice cream in the large containers to take home and eat later. The sandwich shop is great too. The people are always friendly and helpful. It's a great little, niche grocery store with some neat surprises.

I am so tired and irritated buying food from this place and it be a moly or it going bad with days. People need to start doing their job and actually check in dates. It seems like every time I buy cheese there. It’s either moldy or a goes moldy and less than two days. Let’s not talk about the produce that goes bad within 24 hours. This place is absolutely ridiculous. I will be calling Board of Health . I am so over this and every time I call they don’t do absolutely nothing. I am done going to the store. I’d rather travel 30 minutes just to get a bag of cheese, or anything else to buy from this place. Do better this is absolutely knotless. If I can give it a negative stars I would they doesn’t even deserve one star

I just bought a hamburger it was just pure grease and the onions and tomatoes tasted bad. The meat that the hamburger was made out was not tasting good either bought ice cream and the ice cream was pretty much melted.
