This was the perfect price point at 85$ Heather at the front desk was amazing, friendly and informative.
The rooms were rather spacious and cleaned well, with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. TV was streaming so that was a cool change not to be stuck with cable.
The location is perfect in the heart of Tonopah. With the Mining Park and Historical sites within walking distance.
Parking at the Jim Butler is convenient with most spots right outside door

Heather and crew are doing an incredible job. Recently "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" shows positive results. Remodeling rooms as they are able, yet keeping on top of a HIGH CUSTOMER SERVICE status. We had a vehicle situation that needed additional attention. Heather accommodated us with UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL parking within few of multiple cameras. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Older hotel/motel with large room, 2 arm chairs and a table. Beds were very comfortable and bath facilities older and worked fine. Our room was better than some rooms we have found in the "chain" hotel/motels. We will definitely stay again when we have a atop in Tonopah.

Spent one quiet, restful night at the Butler in Tonopah recently (May 2024) and was very comfortable. Nice bed, clean room, a bit dated but still very decent, especially for the price. We discovered we had left some clothing items in the room after leaving and a phone call from about 90 miles down the road to the motel resulted in the helpful staff (Heather) sending us our items by USPS. The package arrived shortly after we did back home in Oregon. Very nice!

Heather was professional and very accommodating. Rooms are older but very clean and stocked. Great stay. Will drop by monthly, because I have family a US VETERAN, who lives here but has no extra room so Butler hotel works great for us.

I knew this motel was older and considerably more affordable than anywhere else in Tonopah. The girl who checked us in was super nice. Our first room didn’t have any hot water so she had to switch rooms. Our second room was missing the remote but the nice lady at the front desk got us one. The TV was terrible reception. We ended up not even using it and watching shows on our tablets. The second day we came back from a game and parked in the parking lot but decided to walk across the street before going to the room. There was a different woman at the front desk. She got after us for parking in hotel parking. I told her we were guests but she didn’t believe me. I thought she was the girl that checked us in so I was telling her that we were the ones that checked in but there had to switch because there was no hot water. She said that wasn’t me. I’m the manager and the hot water is fixed. She was extremely rude. I didn’t even mention the tv not working. The rooms were semi updated and they were clean. My biggest complaint was the rude manager. I will never stay there again just because of her!
The photo is the decoration in our bathroom. It definitely needs updating!

Older well appointed motel. Very helpful staff.Good beds, plenty of linens Clean bathrooms,hot water all the time.Very friendly to my large service dog.Good stop after ghost town and desert ratting all day.all day.Good stop between Reno and .Vegas.Fair price. Ok
