The lady that was there gave a tour of the house. There was no tickets needed. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She explained in detail that about the person's that lived the house. She was also very helpful with other question about Jackson County.

Nice place to sit and take photos but the visitor center is closed due to covid so not sure what it's like inside. Would have been nice to go inside.

I wnjoyed my visit to this historic home turned visitor center. The person manning the service desk , Castidy i believe was her name was very attentive and helpful in answering my questions and guiding thru the various information brochures about the area. She offered a free tour of the mansion which i enjoyed very much. It was a very pleasant visit and experience over all.
