It was my first stay in an hostel and it was perfect. Little Italy is close to a lot of activities in San Diego. The rooms are really clean and there is plenty of spaces for stuffs. The employees are always nice and welcoming, they also have great recommendations on the locals things. You can also spent time with other people anytime, we had an amazing thanksgiving dinner it was so much fun to live an American tradition with so many people.

I don't know where to start. So much to speak highly of about this place from the staff to the location not to mention the beds are so comfortable. I have been traveling for a long long long time and stayed in several hotels. This was my first time in a hostel and it was one of the most comfortable beds I've been in. Staff at front desk was very understanding of my first staying in in a shared space and never hesitated to help if I had a question. All they ask is that you be a decent human while staying there. Plus for the price you can't beat it.

I’m sorry to write a bad review, I never leave them—but this experience was just really not good. I got in late, and was greeted by the woman underneath me doing drugs underneath me the whole night. The staff were ok. Location was kind of shady, and the picture of the center of little Italy on Google maps is actually 3 blocks from the hostel. I’ve been to a lot of hostels around the world and I have to say this one needs a lot of improving.

The hostel was really well located, since it's not far from the airport or the San Diego convention center if you're visiting the are for a convention. It's also close to the gaslight district which is a great area to check out while visiting San Diego. It's also very affordable, would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking to travel to San Diego.

Best hostel experience I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Place was very clean. Met some cool people and was able to walk all over San Diego from this location. So much great food and drink nearby.

Stayed here for one night a few weekends ago in a private room. It was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the people around were great as well. I could tell that they had cultivated a friendly community which was really nice to see.

My partner and I had a great time staying in at this hostel in the heart of so many delightful San Diego activities. The staff was super helpful with the full tour, letting us store our bags for a bit at the beginning and end of the trip and exchanging my bills for quarters for the laundry would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed 2 days here. Its an old building with another additional dwelling unit seperate from main one around the same block. The staff seems okey but they probably dont know what they are doing for exm. they could barge in to your dormitory in the middle of the night turning all lights on to check new guest in. Another thing is the cleaning. Its an old building so dont expect much, this is not staffs fault thou i belive its too hard to thorougly clean the place. They have breakfast thats a plus. Main issue i think was the rat noise coming from the wall right next to my bed. But like i said somethings are coming with building. I would suggest the owner to get couple cats to the premises. They would prolly greet guest better than current employees and you ll have pest control on duty. Another plus side is the location. So well centrally located.
