We took a sunset bat cruise during a work trip and had the best time! Thomas, Bradley and Bruce were fantastic, and they knowledgeable about the area. Communication was great with Savannah who helped us book the trip. We will definitely plan another rental with Island Boat Rentals in the future.

As Captain Thomas took us out on a very comfortable pontoon boat, he shared a little history of Guntersville Lake and provided information on different points of interest, including some of the homes, islands and wildlife in the area. Just before sunset we pulled up very near to a cave where we were able to watch SO MANY bats ? emerge for their evening of feasting on insects. (We also watched an owl taking advantage of the situation as he worked to catch his own meal on the fly…?).
I would recommend this tour to any age group who enjoys seeing the beauty of nature along a lake and learning a little bit about the Lake Guntersville area. Ask for Captain Thomas- he was a top notch guide and navigator!

Highly recommend! This was our 3rd time renting a pontoon boat from these lovely folks and it was a great experience every time! We enjoyed cruising around and fishing and swimming off of the boat. The customer service is excellent!

We rented a 2023 Sylvan pontoon boat for 4 hours and it was FANTASTIC! The owners, Savannah and Thomas, were great, very nice folks! In fact, my wife wants to be Savannah's new best friend! Savannah answered the phone promptly and was very courteous. They were there early, both on our boat pick up and return, and were very helpful! You can trust these folks and it feels nice to work with good people!

Had a wonderful time taking our family tubing with one of islands boat rentals! All the young gentleman are helpful, knowledgeable and polite. The young lady who manages everything makes sure you have all you need and more. We won’t use anyone else! Great price!

Would highly recommend renting a boat from these folks! Savannah and her husband were a joy to rent from, very attentive, relaxed, and helpful. They have some great boats to choose from, including a brand new 22ft 2024 model. So much fun. Lots of parking at Alred when you arrive and super easy access to the boats. We rented from them the first time this week and plan to make it a regular occurrence on our family trips to the lake each year.
