Stephen was an absolute delight to work with! Planned a special walk to meet the needs of our group (who were super interested in a nature hike vs. a tasting tour). He still brought so much history and understanding of the area. We emailed back & forth to make all of the plans as we are out of towners. . . and it was amazing to work with him. Highly recommend!

Even if you've been visiting Idyllwild for decades, Stephen has history and stories that will change you're whole trip! I really enjoyed my "tour" because it gave me gossip, history, architecture and great shopping intro's all while getting in some fresh mountain air from our walk. Stephen is super knowledgable, charming and knows everyone, so you are sure to discover things you never knew no matter how familiar you think you are with this adorable town! Highly recommend!!

Stephen is an ardent and knowledgeable Idyllwild enthusiast. His tour was very informative and fun. We met local business owners and toured the historical Silver Pines Lodge. We also met his constant sidekick, Winter, who is also an admirer of Idyllwild.

Aside from being well-informed, Stephen is a very engaging, thoughtful and fun person to be around. He's been actively involved in our nonprofit 501c3 that supports Idyllwild Nature Center. His paticipation and efforts to encourage and educate visitors about the historical, cultural, and natural environment of the San Jacinto Mountain region has been very appreciated.

I was invited to go along of one of Stephen's walking tours of Idyllwild recently. His storytelling really brought the town history to life and with a good dose of humor as well. We had been coming to Idyllwild for over 15 years and owned a place there for 2 when our daughter gave us an Idyllwild Experience tour as a gift. We thought it would be boring considering our knowledge of the area. Boy were we surprised! We learned so much - and really did not hear anything we already knew. Stephen is not only knowledgeable about the area, but so kind and friendly! We cannot rate this experience highly enough!
