This is the place to be if you want the best service and most amazing venue for your event. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff is second to none! From the moment we met Jessica in Sales, we knew this is where we wanted to be! The servers & bartender for the wedding (Saleem, Maiah, Morgan as well as Taylor the food and beverage director) all treated us like royalty and family all at the same time. There was nothing they couldn't make happen, all while having the sweetest attitudes and biggest hearts! The front desk team we encountered (Matthew, Natalie, Ricci, and Beth) went above and beyond in helping us with every single need and detail for the wedding. Matthew even helped us find food on Christmas night when everything was closed. He also went to a nearby store to get some ginger ale when I wasn't feeling well. Every one of the guys working in valet were also incredibly helpful each and every time we left and arrived back on property. I have never been more impressed with a group of individuals who truly all functioned as a unified family. We were incredibly honored to have our daughter's wedding here and can't wait to visit again when in the area!

Stayed during Thanksgiving week, was a perfect getaway from staying at the parents house. Loved being in the center of all the holiday spirit next to the hotel, was beautiful and festive. We loved our dining experience with Laura in restaurant, The Nickel. She is awesome at making cocktails and made us feel important. Was greeted by Matthew at the front desk, who always went above and beyond to make our experience astounding. The valets Jeff and Cole, were very friendly and always got our vehicle quicker than expected. Had a great experience and will come again soon. Thank you Teatro for a wonderful holiday stay!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Teatro during the holidays to celebrate my husband's birthday. The rooms aren't huge but are luxurious with comfy beds, some have nice bath tubs, water is super hot (be sure to call ahead to find out if your room will have a tub and upgrade if necessary), and the service was great. Rooms are quiet - we heard a little noise in the hallway in the morning but didn't notice any sound from neighboring rooms, which is a pet peeve of mine in newer, cheaper hotels with paper thin walls.
This is one of those special places where you feel like the staff really care about you having a good experience. When I called ahead with a question about our room and mentioned we were coming to celebrate my husband's birthday, they left a birthday card and bottle of bubbly in the fridge for us - nice touch and great start to our stay! The hotel is a beautiful historic building with lots of marble, charming fire place in the library off the lobby, but modern rooms and bathrooms - best of both worlds.

It's a great little place near the Denver Performing Arts Complex, and it made for a nice date with my wife. We checked in, had a drink in the Nickel, walked to dinner, walked to the show, and walked back to the hotel. We had a great night's sleep and a good breakfast before we left. Everyone we interacted was friendly and helpful. We'll stay here again for sure.

Our stay at Hotel Teatro this past weekend was simply lovely! My husband and I shared a room with a queen bed, which was overall very clean and comfortable. The regular rooms are not exceptionally large, but this did not bother us because we spent most of our time in the beautiful foyer or out exploring the city. It is very easy to walk to MANY great places from the hotel due to its central location. We didn’t have to drive or Uber once. Due to this being a historic hotel, there are not amenities such as a pool or gym- just something to keep in mind.
Lastly, we wanted to give a shout out to Matthew at the front desk! He was humorous, kind, and caring, and he made our stay extra special. Thanks Matthew!

We had a great time at Hotel Teatro! The location was perfect and it had great amenities, like complimentary coffee all day, a free breakfast, and a welcome drink. Our room wasn't large (we were in the cheapest set of rooms) but it was well laid out and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

GREAT location and cute hotel. The restaurant and bar are actually really nice. Probably one of the better meals I had in Denver. You get a token for a free welcome drink and $10 credit to use on food and non-alcoholic drinks. The A/C worked really well in the room.

Like other reviews have mentioned, the hotel lobby and rooms smell like sewage. I noticed it more in our room than the lobby, but you kind of get used to it so it's not terrible.

They notified us Friday that the hot water would be unavailable from 10am-4pm on Saturday. The hot water was still not working at 9pm when we got back from a day of hiking. Around 11:30pm the water finally warmed up just enough to not be ice cold, but never got hot. I understand the city working caused this, but its frustrating to pay over $300 a night to not be able to shower basically the entire day.

They do advertise that housekeeping is only available upon request, but I REALLY think this should be changed. Two adults staying for three nights need more than 2 towels and 2 washcloths - you can reuse a towel but you can't reuse washcloths. Once again, for the price, I think fresh towels are the bare minimum a 4 star hotel could do without having to ask.
