Good place for a night stay if traveling. The rooms are clean. There are signs that warn against taking too hot of showers, as the smoke alarms tend to go off. The signs state that a charge of $250 may be imposed if the alarm goes off. They also imposed a $150 incidental charge. Haven't received it back yet, but I assume that I will. Probably takes a couple days. It is contactless service, so there isn't anyone to speak to when checking in. They send you an email with a door code. It was fine, but took a while to get the email. Beds were comfortable enough.

This hotel was very clearly transitioned from an older run down Motel. Upon arriving in the parking lot it gave motel vibes, however once we made it to our room I was shocked to see newer fixtures, molding, sink basin in the bathroom, and many higher end hotel features. All these reviews about not having mini fridges or microwaves or disdain for remote check in are really silly. Unfortunately for these folks this is the way the world is going. I've been in the hotel business for over 15 years as a manager, and though I have gotten out of it recently I always feared the day that a kiosk or remote check in would eliminate the need for an agent on property 24/7. This hotel is in a safe location, beautiful drive here, close to a few little locally owned shops and restaurants. Notably, we didn't set off the alarm with the shower steam, and neither did anyone else. I'm sure it's sensitive but I'd rather it work than the alternative. Someone complained about weed smell, it's legal nearly everywhere now I'm not sure what the hotel can do about people smoking, anymore than Walmart can stop folks from smoking it in their parking lot. Also notable, I am NOT a weed smoker and also don't enjoy it, but I'm not going to unfairly hold people accountable for it. Overall this place was a great stay, and I hope it thrives. I also hope other properties catch on.

The check in process was complicated. They do not have a front desk so check in is through email. Had I known it would be like that, I wouldnโ€™t have waited til I was at the property. It took about ten minutes to check in and receive an email that had my room and passcode to get in room. The room was clean. We were nervous to shower, there are signs in the room that state that if the shower steam causes the fire alarm to go off there is a fee to pay.

If I could have rated lower than 1 star I would have. Rooms are terrible. Two broken lampshades, conditioner leaking all over tub, safe not working, carpet filthy and three flat pillows on the bed. Asked room attendant for extra pillows and at first she didn't have but did return with three pillows so that is why I gave 5 stars for service. Very noisy at night between noise from traffic and drunk people. Don't waste you money staying here.....

Positive: Location Negative: Lounge misrepresented, no access. No waters in room as advertised. Difficultly parking late evening. Long wait on phone to speak to staff. Housekeeping speaking so loud outside rooms in early a.m. this is old motel and staff should be courteous

If you have a toddler who likes fire trucks this might be a fun place to stay. There is obnoxious signage all over the room warning you that the system is easily triggered. I took a shower and promptly ran out of the bathroom and shut the door quickly as instructed by the sign. Then The alarms. Then The 4 fire vehicles and personnel. Then the wait. Then the explanation that it happens daily and the town doesnโ€™t fine them. Very strange hotel. Only chose for location to event. Beds fine. Very overpriced at 274 on the night I needed to stay. Choose a chain next time that has actual people on site to clean and assist!!

*Honest review from a family of Four: We have some Pros and Cons and it depends on what you're looking for. No office, nobody to check you in, it's all online but it wasn't hard to do. Therefore, no free breakfast and no coffee anytime you want like most hotels. No elevators for all your luggage. If you need anything specific, you'll have to call the Circle hotel for help.
The hotel is clean. Our room was a bit small compared to their other hotel (Circle Hotel) but this hotel is more updated. Lots of places to plug in your electronics and drawers to put your clothes away. They do provide a cute espresso machine. However, the room lacked a fridge and a simple microwave. If you want to heat something up and need ice, there is a lounge on the third floor which we did. The microwave is shared with the whole hotel, so of course it smelled like reheated fish when we went to use it. The lounge was fun for my kids to escape to though. In addition, there is seating on the third floor outside the lounge if you want to get some sun, read a book etc.
The walls are thin and we could hear people walk around at 2am upstairs and the people next to us going in and out. The soap and shampoo dispenser fell off the wall around 3am and exploded into the tub which scared my 4 year old, and us half to death. The restaurant Barcelona Wine Bar located in the hotel seemed nice but unfortunately we didn't have time to check it out. Also, they did say we could use the pool at the Circle Hotel if we wanted too. It's hard to say if we would come here instead of Circle Hotel, but we will give it another try.
