Thank you for the ride of a lifetime for my wife's birthday! The four of us had a fantastic time with the top-notch pilot who showed us how peaceful and thrilling the Bell Jet Ranger III can be. We went high, we buzzed low, we did some exciting maneuvers that made the speed boaters jealous. From the classic rock on the radio to the aerial shopping for real estate, the whole sortie over Chesapeake City was a fun awe-inspiring adventure. This reaffirms for me, the only way to travel by air is helicopter. Hope to be able to go again someday.

I get the pleasure of flying with this company almost weekly as part of my job. Prior to my first flight with them I had never set foot in a helicopter and was nervous for the flight. The pilots did an amazing job of walking me through safety protocols and answering the numerous questions I had. While in the air safety is always the number one priority and they have never flown in unsafe conditions just to get a job done. All of the pilots are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in their profession which makes me feel comfortable whenever I fly with them. Horizons office team is also very good at providing detailed and organized invoices. I would recommend this helicopter company to anyone needing their services.

Slightly fewer can instruct you in the necessary skills, but only a handful can really “teach” you about the art of vertical flight - that is what Horizon does, they don’t just teach you how to fly, but why. If you are new to helicopters, need a little brush up work, or are returning to the cockpit after several years these are the people you want to work, with.

The Horizon Helicopter family is like no other. They are the only helicopter school you need to look into if ready to take the next step to being a helicopter pilot. The school offers much beyond an excellent learning environment. Take your family and friends for a ride! If you are in the tri-state area this stop is a must. Check out their web site for all of your options. I am happy to be a current student and after looking into several other closer options, decided to take the almost hour ride just to attend class here. There is nothing quite like flying, and if you are willing and able to give the dedication necessary, this is the place!

I haven’t personally started flying with the folks @ Horizon , but I’ve got a chance to meet some of the team and I have 2 close friends that have worked with them and are both constantly referring them to our group of friends and family . Both of these guys are tough to exceed their expectations , let alone have them referring others to use any business . Don’t over think this one, go with Horizon for your training
