We used Teresa from Honeymoon Islands for our honeymoon and thank god that we did. First of all her knowledge of destinations and resorts was heads and tails above the other travel agents we spoke with. She answered all our questions, gave recommendations, provided feedback, and then let us make the decision we wanted, instead of trying to push us one way or another.

Once we started talking specifics she made sure she checked many different properties and options to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, and sent us prices for each option for us to compare. If we changed our mind, she would quickly get us a new list of options and prices to review.

Of course our trip was interrupted by COVID, which caused us to have to change our plans. Teresa was on top of everything. Constantly monitoring updates from our resorts and the country we were traveling to (St Lucia). She often would email us even before we would see updates in the news. When we made a decision to change plans... she went to work immediately confirming new reservations, and contacting the resort or airlines. She was willing to do whatever it took to get our issues resolved. She even advocated for us on multiple occasions when we felt the change policies were not fair, and ended up getting us some significant refunds that we otherwise would have lost. I cannot imagine trying to navigate this situation without her.

As for the trip when we finally got to go. Her recommendations were spot on. She said the room would be spectacular... it was (see photo). She said the food was incredible... it was. She said the sister resort is not as nice... it wasn't. She told us you can't pick a better place... she was 100% correct. She knew what she was talking about... and didn't embellish anything. We got exactly what we expected based on what she told us.

We also double checked pricing for our trip directly from the resorts and it matched what we were being charged. Meaning that Honeymoon Islands did not mark up the prices. I don't know if this is normal or not, but not something we had to deal with regardless.

We will certainly be using Teresa for our next vacation.

... I cannot stress enough how critical it was to have Teresa managing all of our reservations during the 2020 craziness! At times I didn't know if COVID would let us go on this trip... but I was completely confident that if there was a way, Teresa was going to make it happen.
