A wonderful experience and a great hotel!|We used the pool along with our grandkids, ate pizza in the lobby breakfast area and generally had a fantastic reunion. ||We had this amazing time mainly because of Brayden at the front desk. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that we didn’t need anything. We can’t thank him enough. ||Also the breakfast buffet was great and our room was excellent. ||Stay here you will enjoy it!

This place is just like all the rest super nice and clean. My problem is with the guy running the counter. I'm pretty sure I get two bottles of water for being a hilton member but I did buy them for $3.00 a PC. Then I call down to ask him if there's a way to get peacock on the TV. Whats he say... how should I know. I don't watch TV.
Find another job buddy. Your not cut out for customer service.

Loved the layout and size of the room. Immaculately clean. Front desk very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. We were in town for two nights for a funeral, and we immediately decided that Home2 is our new favorite hotel - there was a homey feeling there that we really appreciated.

I would give them another star, if they had done anything to make it right. I found bed bugs on me and in my room. I notified them immediately and they refunded the night and told me they would see about reimbursing me for my suitcase and possibly other expenses. If they had done that, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset. However, after buying a new suitcase, and new clothes, and going to a truck-stop to shower, they didn't send me anything. The assistant general manager was very slow to respond and after asking me to send a receipt so she could reimburse me (only for the suitcase; she refused to cover anything else), she asked me how I'd like to be reimbursed and then went COMPLETELY SILENT. I have reached out a couple of times since then but am just being ignored. So, if you are lucky enough not to get bed bugs or have to deal with the management, I guess you'll be okay.

Another work stay! Loved the hotel; checkin was great, amenities were nice and rooms were clean! Can’t speak to the breakfast since I didn’t eat but coffee was good! Loved the location; lots of eating options nearby, movie theater and grocery store! Would definitely come back. I hope to work in this area again.

My family was recently in Bloomington for the IHSA State cheerleading championships. Home 2 Suites. Was the perfect location. Located directly off the expressway we were able to get to the venue or restaurants and shops within 10 minutes. But that's not where this hotel shines.
I want to call out specifically Carin.
While leaving Saturday morning My youngest son left our bathroom caddy containing all of our bathroom items for five people in the lobby. There was nothing that would indicate who's property this was. When I made the phone call on Saturday afternoon, hotel staff was helpful in tracking down our property.
They explained if I was able to get The hotel at UPS label, they would box it up and ship it to me.
So on Monday, I went in got a label emailed it and then confirmed they had received the label.
I received the package the next day at my home. Now mind you, this was not a UPS next day label.
So kudos to UPS however big props go to Carin who boxed up shipped and then followed up with me the next day to make sure we received it via email. This is a level of service that we do not see as consumers in any aspect of business.
I want to thank home to suites the Hilton brand and most importantly Carin in Bloomington.

It could have been better.||I requested 2 extra packets of regular coffee for our room. He seemed confused and asked if I had checked in the room yet. No, I had not, but the packets sometimes fall apart and the coffee is weak.|Although there were 6 plates, cups, glasses and silverware, there were only 2 small bath towels, 2 small hand towels and 2 wash clothes. Not checking before showering, the small towels were insufficient. The hand towel didn’t even come close to covering my head.||The front desk clerk told me that I could have requested more towels. So I asked him when did he check out the towel supply in a hotel room. He shared that he never looked until he was done with a shower. So look at the towels BEFORE showering and request more immediately upon check in. They are paper thin towels too.||The king sized bed had 3 pillows. Odd . Not 4. Things to notice and correct promptly and not later.

0. the thermostat has a cap on temperature setting, and you need to put ice on it to "trick" the AC to spit more hot air to you in order not to FREEZE in the extreme cold winter there
1. you have a kitchen and can theoretically cook yourself
2. but breakfast is the same EVERY SINGLE DAY
3. the breakfast is tasty, though
4. you'd better have a rental car
