I gave this hotel a 4 start rating because many restaurants were very close by Magic Dragon/JackintheBox/JimsBurgers etc. Also the room was actually CLeaN!! Towels were CLEAN, Floor Clean! All the Amenities were replaced, air conditioner and heating worked great (quickly warmed up or cooled down the room very quickly and the unit was easily accessible). One downfall was slow electricity outlet or faulty electricity was disappointing but free high speed WiFi Internet available for guests. Overall this choice was great on a budget & I enjoyed my stay.

Delay who lives On-site as well as runs the motel Her name is Becky very sweet kind lady. She does her absolute best to make your stay there as comfortable as possible. The prices are a little high. The rooms are clean. But minimum no-frills no extras you get what you get there overall decent

We were looking for an economical place to stay. We have spent $60 per night at other places and got a so-so accomodation. You don't expect much for that price, but this place was the pits. I would never recommend it. It was small, had bad furniture, dirty carpet, the furnace didn't work, the TV had no remote, there was only one bath towel, which was very old and threadbare, and no hand towels or wash cloths. One bar of soap, no shampoo or lotion, no hair dryer, no swimming pool, no in room coffee. The bed was new, but not particularly comfortable because they must have upgraded to king size, but kept the old queen size sheets that were too small and kept pulling away from the bed and leaving us sleeping on a bare mattress, Ugh. There was no mattress cover. At least the bed was not stained and the sheets seemed clean. The continenal breakfast was pretty much a joke. Just coffee and a cellophane wrapped cinnamon roll, not even fresh. Oh, and you had to pay for ice. Who does that? I must say, the staff was pretty nice. They came in the morning with a remote for the TV, lit the pilot light on the furnace so it would work, brought more towels, etc. But really? No, never again. Don't go there.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. It should be inspected by the health department and closed until it's up to standards. My room was filthy top to bottom, the fire alarm was hanging by wires and wrapped in a plastic bag, there was FOOD in the dresser..old food! The room was more suited for and "hourly" rate then anyone actually sleeping. Hair was imbedded in the blanket. The pillows were in clumps and very lumpy. The TV was nothing but static and impossible to watch, the Bar across the street from this place was LOUD and played until 2am. Graffiti on the wall in clear view was rude and the owner did nothing to paint over it. This stay completely ruined my long over due visit back to Santa Maria which was my home for 30 yrs! I will never return. I would have asked for my money back but I didn't want to speak with the owner while he was standing outside smoking and having coffee while in his pajamas and looking hung over. Yeah, it was bad but true.

This hotel is not worth the $70.00 I paid. The tv remote for the room did not work, had to wait about an hour and a half for the owners wife to return to get a new one, not too big a deal.

The bathtub switch to hold water was broken. The owners wife gave me a stopper and told me to use my own screwdriver to remove the metal screen in order to use the stopper.

The room had no bedside lamps just an overhead light. There was no in-room coffee pot. The room had no clothes iron or hair dryer. There were two small hotel sized wrapped bars of soap on the sink but no samples of the usual shampoo/ conditioner/ body lotion, etc.

The ice machine appeared to be out of service for some time as it was unplugged and covered in dust.

Oh, and they do not offer any kind of coffee or breakfast in the morning. I won’t be going back there.

I'm not leaving this review to vent or bellyache...this is truly to help others...PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE!||||I’m here to tell you this is the worst motel experience of my life. I’ve traveled quite a bit in the past (driven through 46 states) and have stayed in many different places, but this takes the cake for being the worst. I was traveling with a group of friends and reserved us two separate rooms in this Holiday Motel. Both rooms were equally horrible. One room smelled like vomit, there was what looked like some kind of excrement smeared on the main area wall, and the bathroom walls were dirty and peeling. The furniture was falling apart and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The door looked like it had been kicked in and the frame was cheaply patched up. The other room had a sagging bed, equally dirty bathroom, smudges all over the walls and the carpet was sticky. The smoke detectors in both rooms were hanging by their wires and didn’t appear to be functional. The neighborhood looked sketchy as well. This is the first time in my travels I decided to abandon the motel before staying the night. I requested a refund as I had only been there for less than an hour, and the owners were very rude and not accommodating. They insisted that the rooms were clean and I was overreacting. In the end, I only received a partial refund. If you care at all for your health, safety and sanity, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!

First off, when I made the reservation, it did not show up in my name but in that of my companion. This created a hassle when actually trying to rent the room. So we get to our room and our heater was broken. The maintenance man had to come and fix it. The fridge did not work. One tenant was fighting with her boyfriend, the walls in the room were dirty. My boyfriend found a napkin with candy in it under the top blanket. In the morning we found two bedbugs. One in the bedroom and one in the bathtub. We pulled up the sheets to inspect the mattress, and it was filthy! It looked like it had a lot old pen marks on it. I asked for one of my two days to be refunded due to bedbugs, and the office attendant said to me I should have rented down the street.

Super nice owners and employees (loved the little fluffy doggy that belonged to the really nice housekeeping staff), but coming from Sacramento, the prices in this area for a low budget​ motel room we're outrageous. It was loud and outdated and kind of rowdy at night. Hard to sleep with so much noise.
