We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, well-organized, and everything was new and in great condition. It felt very cozy and comfortable. We had a room with a street view, which made parking our car right next to the room super convenient. The pool was clean and pleasant, with a beautiful open area that made it very inviting. Breakfast was also a highlight—only $20 for a wide variety of delicious options. The garlic potatoes were especially tasty, and the scrambled eggs and sausages were great. The only downside was the coffee, which wasn’t the best, but overall, the breakfast was of a very high standard. This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it!”

We had a great time at this resort. The hotel itself is probably one of the nicest ones in the area-- we liked the bright, welcoming lobby with Starbucks coffee machine, waterfall, and spiral staircases. We enjoyed bowling, the game room, and the family game room upstairs with our three kids. One night we were able to roast smores outside, which the kids were THRILLED about. The outdoor pool and play area was great too. Our room with a king + bunk beds was very spacious and clean-- a welcome retreat to relax in and get a great nights rest in, after a day of fun/hiking!

The only con: The restaurants were so slow and busy the two times we dined for dinner, both at the sports bar and at the lobby adjacent restaurant (they share a kitchen and kids' menu). The food, however, was delicious once it came out! Our kids all ate very well, too, and they aren't the easiest to please most of the time.

We made such great family memories this trip-- and we would return to this hotel in a heartbeat, as long as the price fits our budget at the time!

This hotel's location was great. They have nice amenities like smores but no free breakfast. They do offer a starbucks coffee machine in the lobby but it always had a line because it only makes one cup of a tall size every few minutes since it's grinding and steeping the beans for each cup. It would be helpful and quicker if they offered the coffee canisters where more people can just grab a cup quickly. It's also the same machine for hot water so you would have to wait on line even if you only wanted tea. the pool was nice and game room was fun to play for a little break. The food options in grand canyon overall are not great so it's fine but don't expect a lot. Lastly they housekeeping was not great as there was socks that were not ours found on side of the bed when we arrived, the fridge wasn't working and they had to replace and also our safe was not working and they said the computer board in it was broken. Also the conditioner was empty since we arrived and they never filled it. They finally did bring me a replacement but after I was already packed and leaving.

The Holiday Inn Squire is a fantastic resort that's perfect for families! The outdoor and indoor pools are a hit with kids, and the arcade is a great spot for them to burn off energy. If you're planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, I highly recommend stopping here for a night - it's a great base to explore the area. The food is also delicious, and adults will appreciate the bar options. Overall, it's a great place to relax and have some fun with the family. Highly recommend!

This was hands down the coolest place I've ever stayed! First off check in was made easy and the rooms were really clean, the whole inn smelled so clean and fresh. The arcade was so much fun! Shout out to Travis for his hospitality and pure awesomeness he really added so much to our stay my family and I really enjoyed him! It was a bit chilly for us to swim and to hang out outside but the patio was huge and just beautiful, the front lobby was huge and well signed with where to go it was easy to find out where to go and all the staff was helpful too! If I'm ever back in this area I'm going to be staying here again, thank you

Great location. Great premise - not so great implementation. Breakfast is an event. First day we waited for 45 min for a table but no server for drinks or utensils. The second day we got right in but still didn’t see a server until we were done with our meal. If you’re going to make us wait for drinks from a server, please have enough to serve all the tables. The lack of staff was pretty evident - you can charge me for the meal, but at least let me have a way of getting it. Secondly, the rooms are spacious and clean. However, every single sound made anywhere in the vicinity is clearly heard- all day and all night long. Time to reinvest in some sound proofing. The air conditioning - no idea which control actually controls the air, so we changed all of them and waited to see if it would work. I think it’s stuck on 74 on purpose. I don’t sleep at 74 so another fail. The line for coffee in the lobby was ridiculously long because all the coffee pots were empty. In fact, people were coming out from the dining area to get coffee there because no servers were avail to get it in the dining room. Thankfully, one of the lobby workers took notice and went and got one coffee urn which helped shorten the line.

They do have a pretty good size arcade and nice bowling alley. We also ate at the Pub which had mixed reviews. Service there was better than the breakfast for sure. Food? It’s microwaved food - you get what you expect.

All I can say is for the shoulder season - they didn’t plan very well. Lots of families here for spring break but not enough staff to offset any of that. We would stay elsewhere next time.

Great place for a family to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon. Very close to the park and easy to get to.
Hotel was very clean and comfy with all the modern accessories. There were plenty of ports for everyone to charge all their electronic devices. WiFi was great. Kids (11-14) really enjoyed the outdoor recreational space including the indoor and outdoor pool area. Mom really appreciated the laundry facilities which were NO charge. Bring your own supples but no quarters. The whole place really has a resort vibe. Our family really enjoyed the evenings when we would return from the park and make a SMORE's to go by the lobby or sit by the fire. We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast and did not enjoy it. We felt it to be a bit overpriced for $20 pp breakfast buffet offered plus $4 drinks.

Overall this was a very nice hotel. It was clean and the pool area was great for my kids. The king/bunk bed rooms were great for the kids as well. Checking in only 2/3 rooms were ready and the clerk was rather rude getting us into the third room. I asked at 3:55pm when our room would be ready and he stated that they were still cleaning and had five minutes. The first desk staff had been pleasant though. I was somewhat disappointed that I was told there were no connecting rooms before arrival and when we got there our rooms all connected to another. The rental bikes looked really nice and I wish I'd known to book ahead of time so we could have taken advantage of that.
