Our original plan was to drive from Atlanta to Chicago in 1 day. However, we hit the ice storm in the midwest and southern Illinois and decided to stay out for the night instead of risking it. We booked this hotel online and arrived in 10min. The front desk was super nice and understanding. Upon request with room away from noise, she was very accommodating and able to find us a quiet room. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast lady (Patricia) was super nice. Due to the ice storm, the road was unsafe to drive on. We had no way to get dinner. Patricia offered us spaghettis she made for the staff. It was such a heartwarming gesture. In breakfast time, Patricia kept the items fully stock and kept the area super clean. She was just a delightful person and doing above and beyond.

We had a wonderful stay and were graceful for this hotel and staff.

Book it if you can!! Might be the softest sheets I’ve ever experienced.
I stay in a lot of hotels around the country and unfortunately you never really know what you’re going to get. *This place is great*. We had a last minute trip and checked a bit north and the few we checked were full or $200/night. We pulled in here and were promptly greeted and had 2 rooms booked in under 5 minutes for a great price too.
I check everything in the room and halls upon arrival and I couldn’t find a single issue 🙂 They keep the place in excellent shape and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was fantastic for a free one. Everything was stocked and what I had was better than expected. Coffee, orange juice, eggs, cinnamon roll, chocolate, milk, all great. Real eggs too not the powdered garbage. fresh baked cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. This management and team of employees should teach a course on how to run a hotel. We did not experience disruptive highway noise I saw in other reviews. We did not check out the pool or fitness area. Thank you to the staff we would absolutely stay here again

Everything about this stay was comfortable, convenient, and easy. We always look for Holiday Inn Express on our trips. They do not disappoint. They are clean, modern, and the staff is always attentive, friendly and efficient. We would recommend your hotels to anyone looking for the best place to stay while traveling.

We were traveling home from Chicago and ran into snow and ice. After hitting a few slick, icy patches on the highway we decided to get off the road and wait out the storm.
Rooms were clean. They are renovating the motel so there are boxes everywhere. I was disappointed that they didn't have a hot tub. The indoor pool was way too cold for me. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. A good breakfast automatically earns a higher rating for a motel.

The room was fine. Smelled fresh and clean. The breakfast was NOT as advertised. No cinnamon rolls. No pancakes. Almost no hot food available an hour before the breakfast hours were finished. No dairy milk substitutions. Only earl Grey or green tea available. When I pay more to stay at a nice hotel, I expect to receive what is advertised. Leaving hungry.

Great place to stay with the indoor pool for the grandkids. Breakfast included just wish they had pork patties sausage instead of turkey. Very convenient for trip to see my siblings for holidays. Little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Outstanding hotel and staff. Quiet room and very clean. I recommend this hotel to business travelers and leisure travelers alike. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom, while simple, was very clean.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly. The pool area was small but very nice! All the food at the breakfast bar was very good, and the lady that was handling the breakfast area was very friendly!
