We were staying in the area for family event so we wanted larger accommodations. We were able to book a two room suite at this location. The suite was very large and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The suite had 2 bathroom sinks which was great to spread our toiletries out. The bedroom was also large and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had what we needed, a small refrigerator and a microwave. However the microwave was challenging to use, it took a very long time to heat our food.
The room was showing its age.
The staff was great.
I did report one issue to the staff when we checked out,the tile around the toilet was very broken up and we were wondering if the sub floor was failing.
We would recommend this hotel.

Service could have been Great if they had told us they didn't have Pancake batter. My husband prefers Waffle, but this Hotel location & Brand was perfect for our purpose this trip. We ask about pancake batter and personnel came, opened machine, walked away and we waited! Nothing happened! I told my husband to try they biscuits since he can't do cinnamon which i love in their rolls. He said: i think the Biscuits were better than the pancakes! Just it they'd been Open about the pancakes they would have rated higher on Service! They get 3 stars as they compensated us when my husband's ask for it!!

Feels the hotel has been neglected with maintenance issues. Broken tiles in the bathroom, ripped curtains, stained and dirty looking carpets, doors that don't lock properly. They also need to improve their cleaning execution. Breakfast can be improved if they had real eggs, and less sugary option for cereal and yogurt. Include ham or cheese. Hard to find something healthy. I'm sure the food options are the lowest cost, but not the heathy ones. I had a banana!

So, I am a diamond elite yada yada yada. Suffice it to say that I stay at IHG hotels a lot despite my coworkers trying to get me to switch to the H brand. Well, properties like this make me want to switch. One of my coworkers that also travels to this area a lot every year told me that on his first and only stay at this hotel his blackout curtains looked like a cat had been using them as a climbing post. Well, so did mine this time but I was on the ground floor while he prefers the top floor. So that means that they either have a phantom cat going around destroying their curtains or that they really do not care about how ghetto the hotel is. I mean, the decor is way out of date (1970's adult film-ish) and dirty. The desk chairs are fixed leg and not on coasters. The refrigerator/coffee area was just everything stacked on top of each other in a corner where you had to move the fixed legged chair every time you wanted to get to it. AND (this one really ticked me off) the heater shuts down if there is no activity in the room so you come back to a cold room as well as wake up to one. Do not stay here.

A clean room, a comfortable bed, a good hot shower. All the things we expect from Holiday Inn Express properties. So yes, we would recommend it. That said, there are little things. The door lock was balky. The A/C unit was balky. Chipped paint in common areas and missing trim pieces. This property really needs a refresh/remodel. I hope it gets one soon because the staff are clearly dedicated to keeping it up and ensuring a nice guest experience and the location couldn't be more convenient for travelers.

Dirty carpets make this hotel feel unclean. Dull rooms, poor lighting. Jacuzzi broken. The heater in my room made loud noises the whole first night. I didn't say anything because I had already unpacked and changed clothes.

Often times the shower amenities are empty.

I had a blue and red light flashing constantly on the hvac unit. Tile in bathroom lifted on each step. Hair dryer cord dirty. Bath tub chipped. Curtains plastic deteriorating. Stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast is late and same every day. This hotel is declining since my stay a year ago. Sad to see.

Stayed here for business. Overall good experience. The only issue was that the bathroom needed more attention to cleanliness. I would say half the time at these older holiday inn the bathroom floor and shower curtains are not cleaned properly, leaving a mildew smell. No other complaints. Friendly staff
