Where do I start?
The night auditor overcharged us and was rude when my husband questioned her on why we were charged $201 instead of the $136 the website quoted when we booked. After two conversations with her, she told us to talk to the manager in the morning. She placed a $50 hold on our credit card and charged $15 to park in the dimly lit unsecured parking lot surrounding the hotel. This is the first time we've paid to park outside a hotel in an unsecured parking lot. It took some time to locate the parking fee information on the booking website. If the website had informed us regarding the parking fee, we would have chosen to book our regular hotel chain.

The rooms were nicely updated in this old hotel, but the hallway carpets were disgusting!! I included photos.

The housekeeping carts were lined up outside of our room. They were there before 6:15 a.m. and were still there when we checked out. Was this retribution for questioning our bill and asking for the reason we had a hold placed on our credit card?

The key pad on the side entrance door, near the handicap parking and ramp, was broken. Handicap customers have to walk around to the front entrance. There isn't a sign on the door, so when you exit, you get locked out. I mentioned it to two employees, and their responses were that it's been broken for a while.

There were a few positive notes about our stay. The morning auditor was knowledgeable and polite. The breakfast was good, especially the pork link sausages. Our room was updated, clean, and had a very comfortable bed.

This is a very old hotel that has had some remodeling. If you are looking for a new, modern hotel, don't book this hotel. I don't know that we will book another Holiday Inn Express hotel after this stay.

First there's a 15 dollar parking fee to stay in their lot, now why would you charge for that? If you use the vending machines, watch out, no prices, so a teeny bag of chips, a soda and ice cream sandwich costs 13 bucks. Haven't tried breakfast yet. We'll see tomorrow. The room was expensive and the view was a parking lot.. Go to Best western. It's an awesome hotel here

The staff here are AWESOME! SUPER INTERACTIVE, striving to make you experience great. Everyone is super nice and professional. This hotel is close to shopping, golf courses and great restaurants. Front desk introduced us to an awesome smoked BBQ restaurant across the street, another employee introduced us to sliding rock and some other creek side swimming holes, pool and hot tub were nice too. Breakfast was good and on time with plenty to go around. Turn down service was easy to work with and everything was well kept. 10/10 hotel for me. Thank you guys.

FANTASTIC CHOICE!

First we want to give a HUGE shot out to Becky, who was working the kitchen. We came into a packed dining room and someone just recently made a pretty big mess and walked away. She not only discovered it and cleaned it up immediately…she did this with a positive attitude and with a smile on her face. The food (yummy omelettes, biscuits & gravy, sausage links AND patties) was fresh and fully stocked the whole time we were there. Even though it appeared like they should have had more than one person working the kitchen (maybe someone called in sick) Becky was quick on her feet and generous with her smile. Hopefully corporate knows what an asset they have when it comes to Becky!

Ok moving on from the dining room: Still a FANTASTIC choice! We travel A LOT with our kids and choose road trips as our main form of transportation. We’ve stayed here once before and it’s always been the same thing: Reliably CLEAN, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE & REASONABLY PRICED. Whenever we are in Sedona we don’t have to think about where we are going to stay which is another huge bonus!

Best night sleep we had on trip. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Room was clean food for breakfast was awesome. Had gluten free food for breakfast. Recommend anyone to stay at this property when in the area. Staff exceptional and knowledgeable about area.

An older Holiday Inn Express, but well maintained, clean and the location can't be beat. Less than five minutes to Bell Rock, about ten minutes to Cathedral Rock (but note parking restrictions for the latter which require taking the Sedona Shuttle). All of staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a luxury hotel, this isn't it. But the beds are comfortable and the bathroom nicely updated. One of the best values in the Sedona and Oak Creek area.

This hotel is very dated. Stains all over the hallway carpets and doors slamming all the time. Check in was ok, a bit slow. Breakfast just ok. Male on duty one morning was picking up muffins by 9 am. Breakfast ended at 9:30. Come on buddy! Guests notice this stuff. Lots of parking, good pizza next door (Famous Pizza) and easy walk to Bell Rock. We are Platinum elite guests but got no recognition for it. Did not even get the room we requested. We faced the pool while the woman who checked in ahead of me got a corner room with a view. That's what I had requested but she got it. Not sure what the point of requesting is if they just give the room to anyone. Would we stay again? Maybe. If we could afford it, we might stay someplace else in Sedona that offers breakfast.

The rooms are SPOTLESS clean and the staff very accommodating on every level.
I was on a yoga retreat, we hiked all day and to have a clean and quiet room to come back to wa .so nice. The pool and hot tub were stellar.
