Staying here was absolutely amazing besides a few things, the pamphlet told us to put a hanger on the door signing for room service and we did two days in a row and had nothing done, which wasn't awful but we felt bad the trash was overloaded to an extreme. Another problem was we missed the entry to the parking lot because of lack of signage. In pitch black dark, you can barely tell where to turn into. I think if they added some sort of reflective sign it would be perfect for guests coming and knowing where to turn into. Otherwise, this was an amazing trip and the room was fantastic for just two people.

Communication with the office is great. Cabin is great. Location is great. Only thing keeping me from rating a 5 is the mattress. It is a little too firm . They need to invest in some pillow toppers. But loved the rest of the cabin. The kitchen is well stocked. And the price was great especially to be able to get a cabin with a bedroom kitchen dining area and living room. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.We saw 3 deer right out our window as soon as we arrived.

Such a luxurious experience. We stayed in a cabin. Heated floors, kitchen with everything we needed including coffee and yummy tea. They even had fancy shower stuff and lotion.

Our cabin faced the trees and had a little porch. Such a lovely morning to wake up with coffee ready and a beautiful back drop.

My husband and I stayed there and we used the dishes for our food in the kitchen. I didn’t even have to do dishes! The housekeeping does everything.

The cabin was crazy affordable but so clean and comfortable. We were worried that the pictures for it were old or a model but I’m SO GLAD we took a chance. Cause it was just as nice as the pictures advertised. The price is nuts honestly for the quality. I can’t believe they aren’t charging more.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at High Creek Lodge and Cabins in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere made us feel right at home.
The lodge itself is beautifully situated in a little valley with its own little pond and surrounded by towering pines and stunning mountain views. Our room in the lodge was charming and cozy, with recent renovations.It was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
The location is perfect! Just a short drive from downtown Pagosa Springs, we had easy access to charming shops, delicious dining options, and, of course, the famous hot springs. It was the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience.
In conclusion, High Creek Lodge and Cabins is a true hidden gem in Pagosa Springs. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat into nature, this place has it all. I can’t wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this beautiful paradise. Highly recommended!

We originally checked into a queen room and discovered there was no hot water. Management reacted quickly and moved us to a cabin. Great response and service. Cabin was fantastic! Loved everything about it. The appliances were brand new and amazing. All the details were thought of. Really liked the full size coffee pot and container of fresh coffee rather than little packages! Just a terrific experience. Would definitely stay here again and you 100% opt for a cabin!

High Creek Lodge was amazing from the property amenities to our room! Very well kept and clean. It captured the essence of Pagosa with its mountain scenery, the pond, and activities around the grounds. The room was very modern and spacious, making you feel right at home.

I gave the rooms 1 star because of the mattresses and furniture. They do not have your comfort in mind, rather whatever makes pictures look good. I just checked in and haven’t slept yet, but I absolutely know that I won’t be able to walk by morning. These are cheap all foam (likely cheap internet) mattresses. They are as hard as a rock. There’s no kitchenette table or chairs - which is a little strange given that it has a kitchen in the room. And if you struggle carrying every one of your things up a flight of stairs, don’t stay here. We ended up leaving, and they refunded us. This does not appear to be locally owned, but not sure on that.

Our stay at High Creek Lodge was great.
The room was very nice, actually 2 rooms, one for sleeping and the other included nice kitchen area and comfortable seating area.
Communication with the Lodge was exceptional, and check in was simple and fast. The grounds surrounding the Lodge were very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
