My wife and I travel frequently so we’ve stayed in our share of short term rentals.

While in Reno we stayed in two Haus Ventures properties. Both were exceptionally well furnished and set up for guests.

It’s obvious that they are detail oriented people who think of everything. Little touches like having makeup removal cloths for my wife and coffee ready to go. Kitchen knives that are actually sharp (dull kitchen knives are a huge pet peeve of mine. We all our quicks right?), and laundry detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry room, blankets and pillows in the living room for getting comfortable on the couch.

The next time we are in Reno, Haus Ventures will be our first call.

Hosts Patrick and Nela have this nailed! I was in town for biz and had an unbelievable location for business and pleasure! Close to everything, but not quite downtown. I personally love the midtown foodie Mecca, and there is so much new stuff opening up around their place, it’s hard not to try some of them. Absolutely the best bagels in town right next door, at My Favorite Muffin. You can walk to numerous coffee and tea shops, bars and restaurants. I also felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood at night as a single woman.

I have been a Superhost with Airbnb since 2014 so I know what it takes to provide good hospitality. I felt comfortable walking around in bare feet - the place is squeaky clean. It’s obvious that care and thought has been put into the decor, equipping and extra touches! It’s Outfitted with everything you will need to cook meals with comfortable furniture to relax after a long day of work and/or adventure in Reno-Tahoe! The bed and loft are super comfy. There’s plenty of space for you and your things if you are making it a longer stay. And the loft even has a dedicated workspace.

I appreciated the extras that they provided, which made my life easier, not having to do last minute pick ups.
