I’ve been on tons of tours (ghost and otherwise) and Loretta is by far the best guide I’ve experienced. She puts great care into her storytelling and has clearly done a lot of research to make this a haunted history tour and not just an evening of ghost stories. What we witnessed in the basement of the Clay Pit (personally my first ever paranormal experience) can only have happened due to the respect Loretta shows to the lives of the spirits she introduces you to. I was so excited to ride around in a hearse with my friends for a few hours but had no idea that that would just be the icing on the cake. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

We had a very enjoyable tour with Marisol. Her knowledge of historical facts and engaging presentation really added to the entire experience. I've been on other ghost tours and they were OK, but Marisol made this one so interesting! Highly recommend Haunted ATX for a tour you will long remember! And if you're lucky you'll see a ghost! We did, and it was awesome!

My nephews, nieces and I had a spooky fun time last night in the private hearse tour. All the kids loved the history and the girls had fun giving blank death stares out the back window to the cars behind us, just to see if they’d get a reaction. Cruising around in a classic hearse was definitely a great experience and it just so happed to be the same day Texas got their big win over Clemson so seeing the lit UT tower as we visited the Littlefield House was an unexpected bonus! When four teens go home and all tell their parents what a nice time they had, I call that a win!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Haunted ATX. My husband and I got married on Halloween and booked a hearse tour with Haunted ATX for that evening. Marisol was our ghost host with the most and did an incredible job story telling and driving us and our wedding party through the streets of Austin on Halloween night safely. The ride provides free water and sodas and during your first two stops there are bars that you can grab a drink at. You can also BYOB. Grab a a few friends and book a hearse tour today, you won’t regret it! Thanks for making our special day extra magical Marisol!!

Awesome tour!! Definitely recommend!! The tour guide, Matthew, was knowledgeable about all the places visited (Driskill Hotel, Clay Pit, Littlefield House). We enjoyed all the stories and "evidence" he shared with our group. We were able to get out at each location and walk around. We even had an encounter at one of the stops (Clay Pit) where a door opened on its own a few minutes after we closed it. The playlist for the car ride was awesome too! Even the meeting spot at Freddo was great (the froze was really good!) .

All right to start off with I have to say how easy it was to get an adjustment for our party of eight. So typically the van is only able to hold so many people and in order to make accommodations for our party, the reservation was able to be combined with a second reservation to allow the group to be all together.

Next it is super cool that you can bring your own beverages if you would like and that definitely allowed the group to be a little bit more silly with each other nothing too crazy, and I believed our guide Matthew really enjoyed the high energy we were bringing to the tour.

The tour overall was super fun and educational regarding the different historical landmarks within Austin. The ending at the Littlefield house was super interesting because it tied into the Bell Tower incident and how those two individuals though decades and decades apart had similar visions within their stories.

Highly recommend Matthew with his Scooby-Doo mystery van vibes and his awesome Halloween playlist. We are so excited that we got a chance to do this for my sister's bachelorette party. And also great suggestions given by Matthew regarding speakeasy bars and pubs around the area that you would never have thought were there.

I live in town and came more for the fun Austin dark historical facts, and my tour guide, Sarah, delivered on that—but she also successfully spooked me! She was a knowledgeable guide and a terrific storyteller. It was a very comfortable experience, with plenty of opportunities to use the restroom, poke around independently, sit, and grab food or drink.

We like to take paranormal tours when we travel - we had never been to Austin before and we chose Haunted ATX because we could actually go into some of the haunted locations. Marisol was our guide and she was awesome! I learned so much about the locations we visited and now I even feel invested in a couple of them, and plan to do more research on my own. Riding in the back of a hearse was an experience in itself! Definitely recommend!
