For decades, Lee and Bob Jones have poured love and care into their bed and breakfast, and it absolutely shows! From the moment you arrive until departure, you are welcomed with the utmost in amenities and hospitality! The bedding is some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, deliciously soft. The cottage is extremely well-appointed with everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one. Lee and Bob will suggest many activities in the area for you to enjoy, both indoors as well as outdoors. The backyard courtyard with pool and hot tub is a perfect spot to either start your day (with breakfast served al fresco if desired) or end your day with a glass of wine. You will be surrounded by the lovely landscaping, hummingbirds flitting about, and fresh air to relax in. If you have an early AM activity, they always prepare a breakfast to go. If you have the time to enjoy one of Bob's delicious breakfasts, do! So well prepared and lovingly presented. You will not be disappointed staying at the Harkey House!

A few years ago, I found this quaint B&B, and upon inquiry about pet accommodations, Lee told me about The Cottage. Of course, I accepted and ever since then, whenever we are up in this area, my first choice is the Harkey House Inn. The cottage is just perfect for us and our two doxies. Overlooking the pool and the array of flowers so exquisitely managed is such a beautiful sight in the early morning. Lee and Bob are such perfect hosts, serving a beautiful and delicious breakfast every morning, we felt like royalty. A perfect stay at a perfect cottage with perfect hosts. A home away from home.

Lee and Bob are excellent hosts at the Harkey House.||We were in the area for our grandson to attend a beginning falconry class at the West Coast Falconry center. Because we had to leave at 7:30 AM for the class, Lee made us tasty “to go” breakfasts. Nevertheless, she got up early to serve us coffee and orange juice as we ate in the beautiful garden by the pool. ||Our grandson kept saying how “lovely “ everything was at the inn. He appreciated the historical house and enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool. He was very impressed by the array of stars projected on the ceiling of the Empress room.||We enjoyed the stay and the chance to meet our very kind hosts.||

This is by far the best BnB at which we've ever stayed. Comfortable, great breakfast which is gourmet and way above what you'd expect, very friendly, intelligent, culturally perceptive and interesting hosts. The house is a historic structure and filled with lots of wonderful things to see and books to peruse.

Wow, wow, wow! We had an excellent stay at your lovely home! The room was very comfortable and the stars constellations on the ceiling were beautiful!! Both Lee and Bob were wonderful hosts and really went the extra mile for us. The breakfasts were delicious.... I mentioned that I ate blueberries with my breakfast each morning, and the next day there was a bowl of blueberries with a full course breakfast! Thank you for being so friendly and making us happy and comfortable! We will definitely stay with you again.?

I recently attended my 55th high school class reunion in Marysville. When I am in the Yuba Sutter area I always stay at the amazing Harkey House Bed and Breakfast. I have stayed in all their lovely rooms but on this visit I stayed in their beautiful cozy cottage that overlooks a gorgeous patio and pool! The cottage is beautifully decorated with a full kitchen. Bob and Lee are always the perfect hosts that see to your every need! I highly recommend this amazing bed and breakfast!

Came to the area to attend sessions at West Coast Falconry and was delighted with my three-night stay. Hosts Lee and Bob have created a lovely and peaceful home with relaxing rooms and beautifully landscaped grounds. The breakfasts were great and filled with lively conversation. They easily accommodated me with breakfast "to go" on mornings with an early start. This will be my go-to lodging for any trips to the area! Thank you for such an enjoyable experience.
