Room was ok, little dated. Shower door needed a little attention to detail regarding cleanliness (Mold/see pic).

Customer service could have been better.

Side entrance was not working when we returned from the race Saturday afternoon. First thought was that our key became disabled. So, when we came to the front entrance no one was at the reception desk. But once Ashley did appear from behind closed door behind the desk, she advised the side door card reader was not working (Maybe some signage on the door advising it was not working would have been nice).

Seemed as if we were interrupting something or causing an inconvenience when requesting clean towels once we returned to our room. Ashley said we would have to bring dirty towels down to her in order to get new towels. My wife took the towels down to the desk and once again no one was there. My wife left them at the closed door behind the counter and returned to the room. It took another phone call to the desk to get some towels. The towels were at the desk, but no one was there. So, I retrieved the towels from behind the counter myself. Ashley did appear as I
was retrieving them to answer the phone. She appeared disgruntled and not happy.

I’ll start by saying that I’ve left 2 negative reviews in my life and I’m in a hotel 180 nights a year. Booked a room using my Hilton Honors app and requested a mobile key. Checked in on the app. Got a notice that there was an issue with the mobile key and to stop by the desk. Did exactly that. The girl on duty was sitting at table in the dining room and was slow to come to the desk. Seemed out out. No how are you or hi. I handed her my ID and still no greeting. Looks y the computer. Types. Looks some more. Then makes a phone call. I booked a king. Apparently it was unavailable. Said they had a double but someone checked out late and it was dirty. Still acting out out the whole time. Doesn’t say sorry. Just says we don’t have any rooms. Then goes to hand me ID back. And as I’m starting to get aggravated, says “there’s no need for you to swipe your ID back aggressively from me.” If I owned this hotel, I’d fire her on the spot. I’ll also reiterate that I’ve stayed over 2100 nights in hotels the last 14 years and this is my first negative review.

The rooms were clean but a little dated. The staff was warm and friendly. The breakfast was typical and warm.

Here for two nights to attend a family wedding. When we attempted to check in we were one hour prior to the posted check in time (forgot about the time zone change), front desk attendant said we were early and she didn’t know if our room was ready. I asked if she could contact housekeeper to confirm, she says she has no way to contact her. We wait in the lobby for 15 to 20 minutes and then she says the room is now ready and checked us in. Very unprofessional, had some type of video playing loudly on her cellphone the entire time she was checking me in. Second day, I go to the desk and ask if I can have two extra towels for my room, they only had two in the room at check in, same person tells me that I will need to ask housekeeping. I asked her if I was supposed to roam the halls and look for a housekeeper and she said “I guess so…”, then she said “I can’t get you more towels “. I asked for her name and she said Monique. This was the most unprofessional individual I’ve ever encountered in a Hilton brand hotel, and I stay in a Hilton hotel several times a month. If you don’t want to help people, you shouldn’t have a job in customer service….

Stayed here for a work trip for 4 days. Shower was dirty with a used bar of soap. Bottles of soap, shampoo on the wall were covered in black dirt/grease from the last person who used them and hadn't been wiped/cleaned by housekeeping. The a/c made a loud noise when the compressor kicked on, so loud you could not hear the TV. No microwave or fridge. But the breaking point was the day I came back to my room from a long day of work/training to no toilet paper left by housekeeping and only a few squares on what was in the bathroom. I went to the front desk and asked for another roll and explained that there was no more in my room and the girl at the desk went into the room behind the desk for 15-20 mins. She came back and said there was no toilet paper. I asked what I was supposed to do for the remainder of my stay about toilet paper and she shrugged her shoulders and said "I dunno". The next morning I explained what happened to the manager on duty and his concern seemed to be that there were supposed to be two girls on duty the night prior and not just one. Never did he say I'm sorry or offer any sort of effort. He simply said I will tell the supervisor. Sad experience for what's supposed to be the nicest hotel in town. Next time I have to come for work I think I will drive a little farther and stay elsewhere even if it's in another town.

Just canceled my booking. I would rather drive home tonight for 5 hours to florida than have another conversation with the skinny black man at the front desk. It was almost comical how little he tried to hide his hatred for his job. After no one greeted us for 5 minutes at the desk, we had someone show up and see if our rooms were ready. After 5 minutes watching him stare at the computer, I asked "did you find our booking?" and the response was literally a scoff, a raised eyebrow, and "I said I don't know yet." I tried multiple times to explain I was just trying to find a place to change before wedding pictures, and he got so rude I couldn't wait any longer and bear his attitude so I told him we would just be back later. My mother booked the room and apparently he lied trying to spin me as a jerk. I will not stay here and you shouldn't either. Customer service is important. Please fix this so people can enjoy any modicum of rest.

We arrived late after a long day. Upon checking in, we found the AC was not working. It displayed an error code and would not run. The night manager was very considerate. She confirmed the AC was not working but said no other rooms were available. I booked another Hilton hotel 40 minutes away which cost 50% more than this one. I asked her to refund my payment since we couldn't stay due to the hotel's equipment issue. She cancelled the reservation but I found out later that my payment was not refunded. I later contacted Hilton customer service. They created a case and I was told the property manager would have to provide the refund and I should expect a follow up within three days. That didn't happen. I contacted Hilton customer service a week later and they are mailing me a refund. Apparently the management of this hotel does not understand customer service. I suggest you stay somewhere else. The Hampton Inn in Wetumpka is much nicer than this hotel.

My family arrived at this hotel after a long day of driving around 10 pm. As soon as we entered the room, we heard the smoke alarm beeping. I immediately went back down to the front desk and explained the problem. The clerk walked down the hall and knocked on a door and claimed she attempted to call the maintenance person, but said she could not reach him. She said that she did not know where batteries were and was pregnant and could not climb on a ladder. She did not offer to move our room or any kind of compensation. She said the manager would be in at 11 pm. The smoke alarm was literally beeping every 25 seconds. There was no way that my family could sleep in those conditions. I spoke to the clerk 2 more times to ensure that she knew my room number (I had had to remind her before) and that she would tell the manager immediately upon his arrival. She assured me she would. I waited and waited. When no one had come to my room by 11:30 pm, I went back down to the front desk. There was now a man at the front desk. I explained to him the problem, and he knew nothing about it. Then, he came to my room. He pushed a button on the smoke alarm and it still beeped. Then, he pushed it harder and left. As soon as he left the room, the smoke alarm beeped again and I had to call him back from the hallway. He then completely unplugged and disabled the smoke alarm. So, in order to have a decent night sleep, we were left in an unsafe situation in the event a fire had occurred. We checked out the next morning and due to the lack of maintenance (if they were regularly keeping up with the maintenance on the smoke alarm, this would have never happened) and disregard for customer safety, I will never stay at this hotel again!
