From the moment we stepped out of the plane until the moment we got back on the plane we were very well taken care of in every way possible. The hotels were top-notch. The van to get around was comfortable. Tara and her guides were all so wonderful and accommodating in every way. Tara loves what she does and is great at making each day amazing while keeping us safe and comfortable. The experiences we had were perfection. From snorkeling with sea lions to petting a gray whale to being educated along the way. It doesn’t get better. Traveling with women that are like-minded made each one of us stronger and wiser. Green Edventures is a great company. We will be back!!

Tara Short and Ingabörg Guðjónsdóttir have created a well thought out trip to recharge your mind and soul. We visited many unique hot springs and pools. Each day was an adventure learning about natural energy flow, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. We experienced a sound bath in a yurt, which was amazing! I even took a dip in the Artic Ocean, which was exhilarating. Ingabörd shared a lot of the hidden gems and historical places that you wouldn't experience on any other tours. The best part of this small group trip was meeting like minded people and witnessing everyone's transformation to their best self. Looking forward to using Green Edventures for future trips.

I had a wonderful time, exploring Iceland with the fire and ice trip. The leader, Kelly and the guide Inga were very professional and caring. Inga told many wonderful stories as she drove and guided us through Iceland. Kelly made sure that we had what we needed as we explored waterfalls and glaciers and Hot Springs. I will miss them.

I enjoyed trying all of the various foods of Iceland. The lamb was delicious as was the rye bread baked underground. That was the best bread I’ve ever eaten. I recommend this trip to anyone who would like to explore Iceland.

I just completed the Baja trip and everything was amazing!! The people who took care of us were warm and helpful! The food on the glamping portion of the trip was fresh and delicious. Our encounters with whales and sea lions exceeded our expectations. Tara runs a top tier tour company and handles everything along with her experienced staff! I have used 3 other tour companies and I will be booking with this incredible company again!

I was lucky enough to join the first Iceland Magic Yarn Knitting and Northern Lights Trip. Words can hardly describe how amazing and wonderful a trip this was. Tara made this trip so enjoyable and fulfilling. There was help all along the way for all knitting levels from someone who has never picked up needles to someone who has been knitting most their life!

Being an all women group further added to the magic that took place while we were in Iceland. I can truly say I have never been on a trip like this. Every single one of us walked away friends and with a bond that will last for a very long time.

One of the best things of this trip that it wasn't just knitting. We visited hot springs, farms, yarn stores, and parks as well along with stories and histories of the island. It was a perfect balance of activities and knitting.

It was my first time traveling with Green Edventures and it certainly won't be my last!

This trip was a highlight of my entire life! I was hoping for a Mindfulness-based peaceful journey and a few hot springs. What I got was a life-changing experience! Nine women traveling From Reykjavík the entire way to Akureyri having laughs, conversation, journaling, learning about Iceland, And a hot spring/hot tub every single day for 10 days! We even got into the Arctic ocean after learning how to breathe and how to do it from our Icelandic guide, Inga. Inga and the company owner, Tara, created my perfect trip! I've been dreaming of going there for many years and it far exceeded my expectations. I made some friends with whom I know I will stay in touch. This country is the most scenic, beautiful landscape I've ever seen. The people are friendly, the cities and country are very clean, the water taste better than any water you can get anywhere else, and they even have gas station ice cream that beats anything I get in an ice cream shop here! I realize my review sounds effusive, But this trip is a treasure. I definitely plan to go on more trips with Green Edventures in the future. ~Peace Kathy Groft

Green Edventures is amazing! I went on the Iceland Outdoor Sports trip and absolutely loved it! The tour with Tara was fantastic. She and our local guide Inga were fun, enthusiastic, educational, very engaged and invested in our experience. The trip was well planned with so many adventures and wonderful local experiences. I just returned from a women’s adventure tour in Greenland with Green Edventures. The experience has been life changing. The magnificence of Greenland cannot be overstated. Everyday was a new and awe inspiring experience. We hiked on a glacier into an ice cave, which will forever be one of the most incredible experiences of my life. We watched humpback whales bubble net feeding, each moment feeling joy that I was sharing a world with these beautiful animals. We traveled into the fjords, seeing the ever changing waters of the arctic. With our experienced guides, we had opportunities to experience the local community of East Greenland and submerge ourselves into the awesome landscapes. All of this while traveling with a group a new, fascinating friends.
