These folks do an excellent job of keeping tourism alive and well in the Cheese Capital(Monroe) of Wisconsin.
I am proud and privileged to live in this wonderful area and get to enjoy the local dairy industry and its products.
It also employs many of us.
If you haven’t visited Green County, you are missing some good Cheese Factories, Breweries, Dairy Farms, Swiss restaurants, bed and breakfasts, hometown festivals and welcoming folks.
Our beer is second to none as well.
Come see us and stay awhile.

Roads in and around Monroe have been closed or detoured for months.County and secondary roads appear to be randomly chosen to be tarred and then covered in stones which chip your paint,or crack your windshield.Even now a road that was fine in Monticello is closed for what appears to be for no other reason than perhaps somone was bored?Do yourselves a favor and spend your time (money) somewhere other than in Green County.
