I was referred to this office by my Dr.I think around the summer of 2021 & I had been seeing a therapist in this center for several months. On the morning of a scheduled appt session, I woke up early not feeling well with a sore throat and headache, and slight cough and decided to call and let them know I’d have to reschedule, but the office wasn’t open yet, so I left a message to call me back, b/c I was probably going to have to reschedule b/c I was I’ll. Several hours later I get a call from the office saying they got my message and they will put me down as sick and they will have my therapist call to reschedule appt. A few weeks go by and I hadn’t heard back about another appt. So I decided to call to reschedule my appointment.. the receptionist that answered the phone said that I was not able to reschedule until I paid a $60 no-show fee. I explained in a nice and normal tone, to her that I didn’t skip my appt. I was ill and the woman who called me back that morning said I can reschedule and that they were aware I was ill and never mentioned a fee. I mentioned to the receptionist and quote ..” I would think during these Covid times, you guys would understand and wouldn’t want me coming in feeling sick, in case I was contagious “. I didn’t cancel my appt because I was getting my nails done..I was sick! The receptionist explained I couldn’t return until I paid that fee, but if I felt strongly about it I could write a LITERAL letter, not an email, but a letter to the office manager.(which she gave me the information for). Now, I didn’t say I wouldn’t pay it, I would have, but I DID want to speak to the office manager about the office procedure. A week later I received a letter in the mail from that office saying they were NO LONGER GOING TO PROVIDE ME WITH SERVICES, and that my account there was canceled, and that they would let my PCP know. Mental health in these times is very critical. Putting money over patients' mental health is DISGUSTING! 2 weeks after this instance I found out I had COVID!!!!! Ain’t that a kicker? I was looking out for THEIR OFFICE AND THEIR EMPLOYEES..and they were looking out for NO ONE, but their POCKETS! If I could give this review a NEGATIVE ZERO.. I WOULD. rude and unprofessional. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state.

I was in a meeting yesterday for D.A.R.T. ( Derry Access to Recovery Treatment ) and we were joined by Donna Tighe from CHS , what a delightful and pleasant advocate of our people !!! First and Foremost I want to thank everyone @ Derry Medical Center and CHS . That staff and people are absolutely amazing. I got Diagnosed with Diabetes in and out of the Hospital with a list of health issues. Staff Member Elizabeth Jones literally saved my life and helped me get into so many programs to not only learn everything about Diabetes but helped me with seeing the Doctors and explaining on all the different programs that are available for Education and Medicine. Thank You So much CHS and Derry Medical center for helping me save my life. ♥️🇺🇸👍
