This guided tour was far more than we expected! The historical lessons of the region were fascinating, particularly with so many personalized details from our guide, Ron. The views and foliage was breathtaking. This was an absolute treasure!

Unfortunately we were not able to be on the tour due to weather. We are 2 hours away. I feel like people should have the option to cancel or reschedule prior to 24 hours of the tour for such occurrences. I will be unwilling to buy tickets again.

This is our third year of going on this tour. The tour director, Rod, is not only informational but also interesting. He interjects anecdotes with historical information about the area. Outstanding!!

What a great afternoon with this group. Very informative! The guide, driver and telescope guy were fantastic!! Would recommend highly. I go often alone. This bus tour was so much fun

My wife and I recently took the Alton Underground Railroad tour. It was embarrassingly bad. The tour guide spent much of his time talking about topics other than the underground railroad. Most of what we learned on the tour came either from having to ask him basic questions or sharing information with fellow tour members. I would have rated the tour 1 star had it not been for the latter. Alton itself is an interesting city worth visiting.
