Overall, this is a great place. The rooms feel a bit old, but they are very comfortable and well-equipped. The location is great, surrounded by forest. The facilities are good. All the staff is fantastic; I particularly appreciated Carlos, the bartender!

The lodge provided an excellent venue for our American Genetics Association meeting. The staff were very friendly - especially Carlos the bartender, his brother and Augustine. The rooms were very cozy, though you may want to steam clean some of the carpets.

I had a wonderful time at the UC Davis Physiology and Membrane Conference. The food was fantastic, especially the dinners. Our sales manager, Sydney, took excellent care of us, ensuring everything went smoothly. My room was clean and comfortable, contributing to an overall great stay. It was a 10/10 experience, and I can't wait to return on my own time!

Wonderful experience! Thoughtful staff (we were coming off the Tahoe Rim Trail for one night and wanted to do some laundry, front desk clerk offered us his personal laundry detergent as he realized we would not have any). A small and genuine act of kindness that speaks to the whole vibe of the Resort. Great food at the Pub. Great service. Amazing breakfast. Rooms are a teeny bit dated but VERY clean.

Great resort for a conference. The lake was beautiful, so was the surrounding area. It is high in elevation however, but nothing can be done about that. The bar-man, who served during the Oct 6-9th 2024 conference but whose name I forget, was very nice and taught me a lot about bears. Give him a bonus!

Was here for 2 weeks for work and stayed in the suites. Suites were nice, very mountain lodge style. The kitchen had pretty much everything. Liked the big patio. Jacuzzi was very enjoyable, laundry room clean and accessible. The scenery is obviously very beautiful.

I was part of a conference committee that chose this hotel for our conference. The hotel staff was great, with a special shoutout to Julio, Carlos, Lucas, and Augstina. They made the conference seamless and a great experience. Their breakfast was different every day, and was very tasty.||I stayed in a 3-bedroom townhome. It was very spacious and had many amenities that normal hotel rooms do not have (stove, toaster, full-service coffee maker, etc.). I would definitely stay here again for a personal trip.

It was a great dinner with good service and cozy atmosphere. Dining in the lodge by the fire with comforting foods and attentive servers. The staff was knowledgable on the dishes and the local surroundings. I can not say enough abou the permanant waitstaff there.
