We were so lucky to find Rob at Grand Canyon Guru. He planned our family vacation to the National Parks in the Southwest this August 2024. Words can not express how wonderful this trip was. A true "Bucket list trip". Every step of the way Rob listened to our needs/wants and suggested so many guided tours and restaurants at each of our destinations. It was one of the best trips we've taken. We were able to visit Vegas(flew in and out of Vegas and drove to the parks). To start our amazing national park journey, Rob recommended staying overnight at "Under the Canvas at Zion" - a MUST DO and I recommend staying two nights if time allows. We could only stay one night and that was not enough time but so fun regardless. Then at Zion NP - rented e-Bikes in Zion and then walked the "Narrows", Rob also booked us a guided Jeep Tour in Zion that was wonderful, then headed to Bryce NP, hiked Lower Antelope Canyon (true highlight and amazing photos of the caves at the canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lee's Ferry(rafting trip), Page, Az (we kayaked along the Colorado River). Then headed to the Grand Canyon, we toured Hoover Dam then flew home via Vegas. Our boys (10 and 15) had an wonderful time as well and we also appreciate the down-time we had several afternoons to just relax, swim, take a nap etc. This trip had it all!! The time Rob took to chat with us and explain our options was so helpful. He even texted me during our trip to remind me we would be in a different time zone the next day for one of our guided tours. Customer services was the best! Totally recommend and hope to use Rob again in the future.

ok, so you think you want to see the Grand Canyon or the surrounding area, but have NO IDEA where to even start. That would be me. It's a bucket list thing. You have found the right company to contact! I reached out to GCG last year, with really no idea, but a wish and a time frame. Filled out a questionnaire, had a conversation and let them go to work. Yes, there is a cost for their work, no, its not unreasonable. At the end of the day, I enthusiastically recommend them. From the beginning to the end, we had no issues with a plan, a reservation, the accommodations, their recommendations or anything. All of the businesses they recommended were top notch and helpful. The places we visited were just stunning, and, overall, it was a fantastic experience! If we are out that way again, we will set up another trip. We did a self guided tour, from Zion to Bryce to the North Rim and then to the South.
all i can say is WOW! Thank you Rob and company for really exceeding our expectations!

Do not hesitate to talk to Rob about planning a trip to Utah and the Grand Canyon for you. The region is so vast with so many options and Rob has knowledge on it all. If you work with Rob you will get a perfect trip for you! Everything on our trip went smoothly from the pre trip paperwork to each and every reservation and guide that he set up. Hiring the Grand Canyon Guru to help us plan our trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona was the best choice we made for the trip! Rob helped us tailor the trip to the things our family enjoys and made wonderful recommendations from restaurants to hikes to small "side quests" to the scenic drives between destinations. Without Rob's advice, we would have missed some of the best moments of the trip....and we would have been a lot more stressed with the planning!

Having never been to the Southwest, we were overwhelmed with options. We wanted to make the most of our trip and Rob at Grand Canyon Guru was a life saver. He saved us months of research, planning, phone calls, emails and reservations. He helped plan our trip and revised it serval times with us as our ideas changed. He tailored the trip to our skill level after a our phone interview and even checked in during the trip to make sure everything was going as planned. He supplied us with an itinerary, google maps with hotels and park locations, reservation numbers and even a phone app to wrap it all up in an extremely useful form! We would not have had such amazing trip had we not hired The Guru! I highly suggest you do too!!!

Rob really gave us great advice! We did a DYI plan, and he was able to help us change 2 whole days of our trip. We added kayaking on the Colorado, a tour of lower Antelope canyon, and a beautiful drive thru Zion National Park all because of Grand Canyon Guru. I highly recommend this service!

The Grand Canyon Guru was exactly what we needed for an amazing trip. We are notoriously indecisive so we probably never would have gone without their help. We gave Rob an idea of what we wanted and he delivered. It was easy to make adjustments and tweak until we got exactly what we were looking for. We saw 6 canyons and some we had never heard of before, ended up being our favorites. I highly recommend. Everything they suggested or booked for us was top notch.
