My wife received a 48 hour notice for a medical meeting that demanded her to be in Saint Charles, on a Saturday. we drove nearly 11 hours through the night and decided to offer the opportunity to a hotel that we were not familiar with the name in our area,
On our way in, I stopped and asked a lady who was on her way out, her opinion of the room Cleanliness, presentation, and how she felt about the staff. She said all great things..
Mind you, this is not the “Grand foyer” Beverly Hills type of hotel that you spend half a weeks paycheck on for one night. But when we approached the service desk, we received the most polite Service as if they were at that level. It was evident that this is a family owned establishment who are proud to have great customer service and even went extra accommodating for the last-minute predicament that we were in

My husband and I had been staying here for a number of years. Everything was wonderful until as of late. They had a homeless man staying in their workout room and the pool was out of order. We would continuously find drug paraphernalia in our room, and the last straw was the bed bugs. We tried to be cordial about the situation and show the owners. The wife yelled in our face and tried to blame the situation on us. I have never experienced such bad customer service for a experience we were expecting from the location. I recommend do not ever go to this hotel!!!

We were nervous because of previous reviews, but every single one that I read was completely wrong. We had absolutely no problems with pests, or with smoking smells. The only smell we did smell is from a cleaner but that’s not bad at all. The people running that hotel aren’t that bad either, you got to remember that they are running a business, we had no problems with them being rude to us. Also, very good location! Not disappointed at all.

Absolutely disgusting!!!!! From the so called breakfast which was a joke w old fruits! The rooms were pretty bad! If the smell of mildew and mold wasn't enough do not get me started with the bugs .. We ended checking out in the middle of the night!!!!! . Management was absolutely horrible and rude. Would not stay there for free!!!! This place should not be open for business!!!!

This place is a dump!! Wouldn't let us cancel the room, when we saw how horrific the motel is..

Even paid insurance and still Wouldn't let us cancel.

So I had my bank disput the charge and got my money back.

Just to inform the interested parties traveling from out of state...

I used to live at this motel like 20 years ago. I was one of the guests who payed on a monthly basis...

The positive reviews you are reading are more than likely coming from the tenant's that the owner's rent out the room's to on a weekly/months basis that live on the 3rd floor and then ask them to go on Google to write a positive review for the Geneva Motel...

This motel is bad news, it is absolute trash, there are ABSOLUTELY bed bugs lingering around inside of this motel!

&.. YES!!!

The owner's are VERY argumentative when you bring up a complaint and will always blame you, The Guest!

The hallways DO INDEED smell like Marijuana, Cigarette smoke, & mold! 💯

If you do go to this motel take your time & carefully look around the rocks and bushes...
I guarantee you'll find orange caps laying around from needle syringes or an actual
old dirty syringe itself....

Alot of alcoholic's, heroine addict's, Crackhead's & fake ass people live at this motel.

I know this because...

I used to be an alcoholic/addict and I finally got out of there and away from the hotel/Motel life I had been living.

Today...

I have a absolutely bad ass apartment of my own, I'm sober and doing very well!

Moral of this story...

If your thinking about staying at a hotel that rents out rooms to homeless people, alcoholic's, and drug addicts, that unfortunately turn these hotels/motels into what they are...

Then the positive reviews trying to scam you into staying with them are more than likely to good to be true...

GO ELSEWHERE, PROTECT YOUR FAMILY & STAY SAFE!!!

Horrible customer service. From check in to check out. I specifically asked for a single bed as it was just me. They gave me a double bed with an excuse. Please don't waste your time, energy, or money.

During my travels, I have had the opportunity to experience the hospitality of numerous hotels around the world. However, the exceptional nature of this particular motel truly stood out to me. The rooms were not only peaceful and quiet but also surprisingly spacious, impeccably clean, and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene, akin to a luxurious 5-star suite. What truly elevated my experience was the remarkable professionalism and warmth exhibited by the staff. Their friendliness, politeness, and willingness to go above and beyond to assist guests, whether it was day or night, truly exemplified outstanding hospitality.
